Same here if I dont find a LSD in the junk yard I will buy a Quaife some day . I dont see the point of spending 450$ on a used diff, but if I find one in a junk yard here it will cost 45$. And I have been close a couple of times with 300zx turbos just older than 87

Yes they are wider I think the red one has 17x10's -
I have 10" Ground Control coil overs in the rear now, If I put 8" coils in the rear I will be able to get the spring perch over the the tire. Then I will be able to fit 17x9's in the rear with no flares. like these cars.

Look at my car (bottom photo) it needs them.... a nice set of 17x7 and 17x9's in the rear.

I have seen a tool that bolts to the hub and has a big roller on it. I think you can rent it from some wheel shops. Ah..here it is "Haweka fender lip roller can be borrowed from tirerack.com and only costs the price of shipping both ways to use it (about $30) Includes a video and heat gun to soften the paint. I think the Racing Pro N1's only come in FWD offset, +38 or so. Or can you get them in other offsets?

I think the 300ZXTT transmission is almost the same as my GTS Skyline Transmission. It is big, looks like it could handle a lot of power.

As for cost you will need L28D crank and people want around 250$ just for that. + 240Z 9mm rods that go for around 100$. As for reliability I have heard that the strokers run hot? I dont think you would need a 3.0L to get 250rwhp. -

I talked to a guy at http://www.wheelchoice.com and he said around 2000$ for a set of 17x9 but that was just off the top of his head.

Mine is so big I can not get a filter tube past it. I forget how wide you can go.
