    This is definetly not fabrication, just didnt know where else to post it. Hey, so, I was about to use AN fittings to do my radiator hoses, I think I still might down the road, but for now I bought this from summit. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-390148/ You could prob but it together cheaper from summit,I was in a hurry and just ordered it. The only part that is rubber is the end.

    I relocated the alternator to the other side. I hope the crank pulley can spin the belt ok, I have a feeling its going to slip. If it does I will remount the alternator. Just have to finish up downpipe, mounting radiator, and i/c piping and she will start up.

    haha. I went to parts store 3 times, guys starting giving me their advice and constantly asking "what year and make". I mounted my alternator differently, I didnt finish it yet. I have never really had to "fab" up as many things for a project as this one. I hope the crank pulley doesnt just slip around the belt. Its tight. Belt outer circurmance is 40 3/8. Dotn think its going to help you though.

    Hey, so I made my own trans mount and I have a feeling my trans is sitting too high. can anybody do me a favor who has an sr20 installed and measure the base of the shifter to the hole in the trans tunnel so I can get a an approximate height of how high it should sit.

    Your car is sick. I have a 2+2 rhd, sometimes I wish it was a coupe, but what can ya do.

    I had the same issue with the clutch master. I bought a I believe was a 75 series tilton. Its almost 2 inches shorter than the stock master and fits perfect w/o modification. It was a 100 bucks. Easy solution.

    Nice, I competely overlook things very often. I made a my own bracket from scratch but the alternator faces up and the terminal on the back sits close to the exhaust manifold so I think im gonna flip mine like yours. Thanks for the idea and nice work.

    Hey ever take any pics of the alternator relocation? and what belt part number did you end up using?

    Maybe it would be cool if there were sections in the for sale section. Like turbo parts, suspenion, brakes, drivertrain. Its irritating when your looking for some brake parts and theres nothing but motor parts that you need to read through. Just an idea. maybe a bad one? good one?

    I need to swap a r200 in for my r180. I have a jdm 77 280z 2+2, im almost positive it was manual from the factory, but it has a r180 in it. Anyways, I need the following parts. Im looking for the 3.3 ratio or the 3.55 Differential mustache bar from 280Z with R200 side stub shafts from 280Z and front mount if I need it. let me know please, thanks

    autometer sells the exact same product, they emailed me back and I was right to follow the instructions. Output of igniton relay goes to input of tach dapter, output of tach adapter goes to input of coil harness. You can also trace the power wire on the sr20 coil harness and tap it

    If you dont mind me asking, where did you get the snake skin to run the wire into from?

    why dont you just cut out that bottom part of the rail and weld in a flat peice of metal and replace the rusted/cracked section?

    Right now Im just waiting for my ss braided lines to come so I can run the fuel lines. Im pretty much done with the wiring already. Just needs fuel lines, and intercooler setup to run.

    I havent updated in veery long time. Heres where I am at now. Im very close to having the car running and driving, then im going to pull everything and paint her. Here are some pictures: I really badly wanted an aluminum dash for this car, not being able to weld aluminum, and not liking the dash jegs sells. I happened to see the dash EMWHYROHEN made, and well I copied it. haha.
