  1. Gorgeous car. Love the fab work and the color you choice.
  2. It was an integra. The manifold looked alot like the one above.
  3. I put a ebay manifold on a car for customer against my advice last summer. I could see the metal stretch as you bolt it on. It lasted almost 2 months. Now he has a real manifold on his car.
  4. If you look up civette on youtube or ls1tech you can see how to fit a corvette drive train into a really small car. A civic not a 240z but it should help give you ideas.
  5. You want it in the block close to the top of the combustion chamber. If you mount it in the head it will pick up a lot of valvetrain noise that could be interpreted as knock by the sensor. The sensor is microphone and want it closest to what you want to hear.
  6. Nice car. Are you using Kpro? Stock ecu?
  7. reamo04: It is the low profile elbow. There are 3 types normal, low, ultra low. jc052685 I'm hosting a dyno day on feb 6th and hope to put it on the rollers then. now for an update: I started rerouting the wiring in the engine bay to avoid heat and clean up the appearance. Hear are some before and after pictures. before after Resized to 98% (was 800 x 600) - Click image to enlarge before Resized to 98% (was 800 x 600) - Click image to enlarge after Resized to 98% (was 800 x 600) - Click image to enlarge The transmission was leaking so I had the guys a Mikes Transmission 505-797-9444 go threw it. They found bad seals, damaged pump gear, and the cause of most of it was the converter wasn't fitting properly. The pilot on the converter was modified and fits like a glove now. The trans looks great. I can't wait to take it for spin. I also go the headers wrapped and put back in along with a transmission scatter shield and drive shaft loop. 9. The mounts are f-body but they have metal weld to them to make them solid. It also has the jc kit.
  10. The guy just needs boost by gear if its going to run on the street. That's how i don't kill my traction in my Integra. Sometimes its fun spinning threw all the gears. It is a totally different car on slicks too.
  11. I decide to relocate the coil packs. I built custom brackets for them and I'm using caprice lt1 plug wires. I am also rerouting some the the engine bay wiring and fixing some leaks I found. I plan on wrapping the hot pipes with DEI Header kit to help battle the heat too.
  12. Looks good. I have a Integra and a 240 Z. I did a double take when I looked at the picture then I went back and read your post. I turned out nice.
  13. The build looks gorgeous. Let us know what numbers it puts down on the dyno.
  14. I like the plan for the dash. Good luck with the build.
  15. Here is a place that makes a muffler that might meet your needs. http://www.burnsstainless.com/UltraliteMuffler/ultralitemuffler.html
  16. What do your spark plugs look like? Any speckles?
  17. That thing is moving. Do you have any dyno numbers? What does your z weight?
  18. Very nice numbers and great job controlling that monster.
