  1. I have a never used one (mounted once or twice) which I was using for my spare. It will fit in a priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box 2-3 day delivery time. I am asking $50.00+ $5.00 shipping. This is 1/2 the cost of an off the shelf new one. I am having problems attaching pictures so if you are interested and want to see pix I will need an email address. Thanks.
  2. Update on our PM, I have one coming, it's definite and on its' way...
  3. No offense was intended, what I should have prefaced that statement with is; "Generally speaking..." There are always exceptions to every generalization.
  4. Your custom intake manifold is craftsmanship excellence bar none. The thing is these are used cars and people who drive used cars unless they are Jay Leno do not have alot of money to spend on parts and whatnot. We might be loathe to admit this as everyone wants to be seen as a player; hence lookie-loos, flakes, and no-shows. You'll connect with someone though because all you need is one buyer right now and that is a spectacular piece. Best Regards, Daniel P.
  5. I have a couple doors available. Will take pix and send price this afternoon. Thanks.
  6. Well done, a good set of used 240z door panels can fetch 125.00 quickly. Strav is right though, there is a thread for this...
  7. Thanks for the compliment, as far as the Tundra thing, it's not stock! If my car was sitting an inch lower all around, it would look truly evil (and probably ride that way as well, bouncy- bouncy).
  8. Actually, I'm going to hold off on this sale because I am not sure about retrofitting a 280z voltmeter into a 240z. I had an experience on another site with a gentleman who bought a 280z quartz clock to retrofit into his 240z. It did not work without the stock 280z harness so I do not need another experience like that one. Best Of Luck.
  9. This works on this vehicle where a thin 240 style bumper would not (in more ways than one)...
  10. I love this bumper! I filled some more of the spaces so it looks like it is coming out of the grille! From the top down it conforms to the curves of the hood! It plain just looks mean! Here's an analogy; it's like the difference between George St. Pierre and Brock Lesnar. They' re both highly competent champions but their style is different. GSP is the finesse, the dancer of MMA and Brock Lesnar is the brute power that will not be denied. I switched from a GSP bumper to a Brock Lesnar bumper! P.S.: If anyone wants that leaf spring bumper I fabbed, I'll sell it for $20.00 + shipping. It attaches to 77-78 280z mounts albeit it is somewhat of a hairball mount and will require some disguising to make it appealing.
  11. I like the simplicity of the new bumper as well as the fact that it looks like it is integrated into the vehicle body. It looks like a cow catcher on one of them olde tyme steam engines. Or a battering ram ala 5-0.
  12. Thanks for the compliment, who knew? The protection it offers is not just physical but legal as well. Police in my area WILL pull me over with no front bumper. It was just fun to work on the car again...
  13. I have been without a stock bumper on my '76 280z for many years. I have tried all kind of substitutes and finally settled on a piece of leaf spring bolted to the stock mounts. I liked the way it looked how the bumper conformed to the vehicles curves. Its safety was questionable at best. But luckily this was never tested. Last year I came into the possession of a 1975 stock front bumper. I have no illusions about selling this, hell we cannot even give these things away. it's been sitting on the floor of my garage getting in the way etc. Finally after a few days of thinking about it, I said I'm gonna mount that thing again and see what I can come up with. The final result cost $2.16 for a piece of cove base. I like the way it looks and it is probably safer than what I had. Original Bumper + This car = This configuration
  14. Dustin, Here is a picture of the stuff you requested. The taillight cover is from a '72 240z as there were no earlier intact ones. It is in primo shape, ther wer two cracks that I repaired with Krazy Glue and RTV. If your going to paint it, I'll leave it alone. FYI, I've never seen a taillight finisher with no access panels. The choke cable has wires intact with smooth action in the housing. Not sure you want the console as it is a '73. I am definitely going to repair, paint it and put it up for sale. I will PM you with pricing info. Best Regards, Daniel P.
  15. I don't think it's that bad. At least it's one color and the body panels line up. Call it "American Rice", or "dirty rice" or "vanilla ®ice"
  16. I just researched his back posts, he's in Mesa, that should narrow things down for y'all. Get to it!!!
  17. I don't live in Arizona, but I imagine there may be more than one Nissan/ Toyota junkyard in that large state. Someone who lives there might need a little more direction, or is that part of the fun? Scavenger hunt!!!
