Our premium here is 93.. so that would disqualify me... .. joking.. I think if you run racegas as a precaution to be on the safe side it should be ok.. I just gave the money for my front mount intercooler and it should be on the way soon.. (THANKS Jersey).. so I hope to be in the low low 13's high 12's in the not to far future.... I HOPE..

HOLY COW GARRETT.. THAT THING IS HUGH!!.. what are you compensting for eh????? LOL..Oh yeah.. HEAT... How much boost are you running now? still on stock turbo? stock injectors? I installed my boost controller tonight and turned it up to 10psi.. I was not ready for the amount of power that gave me.. In first gear from a roll when boost builds it will start slipping the wheels abit. Feels soo much better then it did at 7lbs of boost. See you guys at reynolds!!!!!.. PS.. hows Ivans Z going?? yall going to be able to bring it??

WOW thats a fast Z.. I think the whole Idea of creaping along is to weed out the cars that will over heat and just not really be streetable. Thats a pretty cool idea though.. Glad to see the Z with the win.

at the house.. 77280Z with turbo motor .Daily driver 03 sentra GXE.. family ride 82ZX parts car 86 300zx n/a. my inlaws car. I was drving it when I turboed my Z.

You will also need the turbo distributer and ECU harness. oh.. and do not ... forget the turbo igniter. It is connected on the coil of the turbo car. While you are at it I would find a Non EGR intake manifold and get a Aluminium Fuel rail. I would go with the ones Pallnet are making. THey come with a fuel pressure gauge in them as well. JTaylor from this site ran 13.9s in his Z31T and all he had was boost controller Running I think11 lbs and the exhaust dumped after the DP to a race magnum.. So I know it can be done.

Coil is a MSD and ignition is MSD 6al. I checked spark. it is good. I have new NGK plugs. Cap is good and wires are not old. I Just took the filter out and blew it out. I didnt see really anything clogging it. but who knows. I have a fuel pressure gauge on my rail. At idle I am reading 28-30 when I give it gas ( not under a load) It goes up to about 38 or so. I am rigging another FP gauge to go up to my windsheild so I can look at the pressure when the problem actually happends. I hope to find the grimlin before the event.

Wouldnt you know it. A brand new exhaust gaskit GONE.. I had a exhaust leak.. A bad one.. right under my T-stat housing. It was leaking a small amount on top of my exhaust mani and blew out the gasket. Well Tonight I replaced the T-stat housing gasket , the Exhaust gasket , put a brand new FPR in( THANKS WARREN-CUSTOM LOCK-) and replaced the AFM And a new 02 senser. I replaced the AFM , FPR and 02 senser cause I am getting something weird happening while driving. Under acceleration it drives perfect. but during cruising or just staying at a steady rate of speed it will be fine and then start missing and bucking. If I blip the throttle like 2 times it straightens right out and drives fine for a little while and then does the bucking again. I am at a loss to what it is. Anyone ever had this happen to you?? Thanks for any advice I may get..

There is a fiero in town here that has a 4.3 ltr with a hugh turbo on it. He is running in the 9s I believe. Lifts the front tires off the ground when he launches. Pretty awsome.

I got my exhaust put back on today.. WOW WHAT A SOUND.. I will try and get some short video of it soon and put it on my ftp site. Sounds really fluid and low toned.. It seems to run way better with the exhaust on too. I feel much better about getting on it now I can hear the motor. OH MAN Who ever said boost is adictive was ,... uh... well.. TOTALY RIGHT ON THE MONEY!!!!

Well folks pulled the doner motor out on saturday.. pulled my motor out. swapped parts , got new(stock turbo ) motor in my Z last night.. Then this morning put it all back togeather... set the timing.. VROOOM.. cranked right up.. WHOO HOOO.. I only have one small problem. It seems to surge or sputter a bit under normal driving.. I have one leaky injetor that could be the cause. I will change that ASAP.. It also could be were I have my fuel pump 12V swithed. It might not be getting a constant 12 volts.. I will have to check that out also..But for like the most part.. It gets into boost fine and drives really good. Took a total of 18 combined hours. Not too bad. NOW I REALLY CANNOT WAIT TILL REYNOLDS!!!

Hm never thought about the 300zx pistons.. So they are a 87mm bore as well? that is interesting..I may have to research it. It seems like it would have been done before it it could have been.

Sure rags that would be great to get that number.. But 440 is still way over my limit right now. AS I have a wife in Grad school and a 2 year old girl. Money is Always tight. But yeah maybe in the future. Thanks again.
