The person you were talking to must not know what a turbo does... 3in is a great size to put on our cars. Heck I have seen as big as 4inch in some turbo applications but I doubt that will fit under our Z's he he.

Hey Aux. why does that exhaust have 2 tail pipes? that exhaust looks good. but seems it should just exit out on that one side and not really split.Seems like it would use alot less pipe and bends if it went straight back.. I guess it is just for looks?? I would like to see how the SRT4s are doing in 4-5 years.. see if they hold up good.. I really like the way the Razer looks..

Thoes are prelude seats. I have a set exactly like them.. I will try to install soon. The drivers seat has lumbar and manual adjustable bolsters. they dont weight all that much either.. And yes.. that Z is NICE..

WHY , WHY WHY WHY.. lower a YJ?? and the S2k motor??? I know when I had my CJ7.. I often thought what would make this off road better.. HMM.. I KNOW.. let me lower it to the ground and put in a motor that has no torque. There is a lowrider YJ in town here.. I want to ask him if he has to put it in 4 low to make it over speed bumps... Oh well. It takes all kinds I guess..

Well Got my Z back from the hospital. They did a excellent job!!.. The body shop guy said if I notice anything wrong with it to bring it back to them. Then the owner came out and said the exact same thing. with We have been here for 25 years and thats not going to change any time soon. That makes me feel good. I also wrote down the mileage before i dropped it off. not even a mile was put on. Now I can work on getting everything ready for the IC install.. WHOO HOO..

You must have a bill gates sized wallet. to CNC a entire block out of aluminum would be very very expencive. Not to mention the cost of doing all of the math putting the water chambers and everything were they need to be. I could be wrong though? who knows.

THey are not the same for sure.. I ran into that when I was doing the turbo swap. I had a set of injectors the PO gave me that were cleaned and bench flowed. they were flowing 180cc. I later found that the turbo injectors are actually 270 or soCC's. if you run the n/a injectors I am sure you will not be happy.

sweet man.. I think it might be time to take some more pics.. how long till the maiden voyage? and how long till we see it back down the 1/4 . Is this basically going to be the same motor set up you had in the Z? any improvements or changes?

did you solder the new clips in or did you clamp them in? I replaced mine when I put the turbo motor in and had a slight problem with it missing on one cly. I found that the clip was not all the way on.. I unhooked it and cliped it back on and it smoothed out. This does not sound like your Z is doing this though. Could it be something else? I would try cleaning the contacts of the ECU as well as the AFM and the fuseable links. At least that will be a good start.

Well she is at the body shop now. This is in reference to my Z being hit in the passenger side door by somone packing out. I found a door from a friend over in MS actually. so I got it for FREE!!.. it has like zero rust on it as well. I was stoked and I am getting another small dent in my front fender fixed for basically free. And get this the door I got was red.. but when I took the inside skin apart the original color is green. Now I just cannot wait to get her back from surgery.. UPDATE...Well just got a call from the body shop. looks like the used door is chopped full of bondo and has rust issues that where hidden. He has a metal working specialist there that can fix my door and will only need very small amount of filler to get everything perfect. My door has no rust so I think I will go that route.

How could I foget about PORKCHOP.. I totally forgot about the 12.0 and with the junkyard block.. Rick I saw the pics of your Z at the FL Z show.. looking great as always..

I sure wouldnt turn one down if it was given to me..LOL.. I been in one around a autocross course with slicks.. OMG.. I felt motionsick when I climbed out.. It was pretty impressive.

YUP, Jerseys knocking down 12.4s now .. even with a stock L28T block and stock T3 turbo and stock electronics.. And I think it is his daily driver , I would be willing to guess he didnt spend anywhere near 45K to get these results... is it not Len? But spend some money and stick a turbo or or even laughing gas in a Z06.. That might be alittle more challenging to say the least. 8) P.S I think James Thagard's time of 11.06 is a tad bit faster as well. And then there is 510SSS hitting high 10s with his 510L6 turbo

I called roger at Zbarn earlier today and he called me back with good news. He found me a perfect used door. No rust. so I think I might be set. the only problem with getting a estimate for a new door is that they have not been available for a while now and no body shop will give an estimate on a new door if they dont have a price to go by. At least now I can get the ball rolling.

I have called zcarparts.com they are looking. Is danny's datsuns the ones who ripped some people off in the past? Any one with a reference?

Ok.. nissan cannot find a door. Nore can the body shop find a decent used door. I would rather have a new door but that is looking like that will never happen. At least if I get a used door I would really like a compleat non rusted one like my original. Any one have any ideas??
