I got my IC and it was abit on the dirty side( but the price was awsome... Thanks LEN AKA Jersey!!!!!!). So I wetsanded it and polished it up alittle.. looks MUCH better now.. Now all I have to do is take the clutch fan out and install an electric fan to make room for the IC piping.. Then install it.
Thanks again len, I hope to do you proud with it..
Here is the IC the way I got it..

Is it just me or do thoes piston walls look thin and easy to break? looks like gaps around them? doesnt seem like there is much room for any error or running lean or pinging for the just in cases. Looks pretty good though.. what are yall expecting out of it HP wise and 1/4 time wise?
It depends. If you are going to be running 10psi non intercooled the stock HG will hold.. but it does not take much leaning out to blow. From what I understand the stock Nissan headgaskets are good for upwards to around 16psi as long as you have enought fuel and the IC to not run lean and ping..
Man this person is DREAMING!!.. 7.8 @182mph on 245's.. YEAH right.. through 2.5 in exhaust and 32lbs of boost.. It is a nice looking mustang but this guy has no idea what he is talking about. just spouting off parts.. hahaha. I am deffenatly in the gotta see it to believe it club..
Hey mack:: someone should post Yuki's Z pics on that site.. I think they would probably flip.. hahahaaha sounds like they were trying to compete being the first ones to do it with turbo.. I think Mr Komiya beat them to it..
that looks pretty good in the 240sx as well.. But WAY better in a Z for sure..
WOW.. Is all I have to say..
Annani ijou aitemu ikasu S30
I hope I got that right.. At anyrate.. I bet it puts down some serious power and is crazily fast.. If I were to change the color of my Z.. I think that would be it..lol
Welcome. This motor you found.. is that out of a 280zx turbo? if so that seems WAY too much money, even if it was recently rebuilt. I have a 77 280Z turbo BONE stock accept 2.5 in free flowing exhaust and boosting at 10 psi. I believe the stock 280zx turbo injectors are 270CC and can handle around 260-280 HP before maxing out. Good luck in your search and hope you find all the info you need.
Welcome to the site, If you have questions about conversions.. you have come to the right place.. So are you ditching the SR/240sx project and going with a 240Z/V8 project or are you putting a V8 in the 240SX?? At anyrate If and when you start looking for a 240Z.. Find a good clean minimal rust Z to start with.. it will make things a WHOLE lot easier on you in the long run.. Glad you have found the site and Good luck with soaking up as much info as you can.. I know I have and still am..
Hey guys, I updated my website with all of the SEZM4 pics, I also have 1-3 on there as well. I also dedicated a page to my first Z. My 280ZX.. Let me know what yall think..

HAHAHA thats awsome dude.. so she pulls good on the hiways eh?? hahaa.. what are you going to be doing with that L28 ET when you are done with it?????? PM me..
I think most that build the L6 for non turbo race applications usually build a 3.0 or 3.1ltr stroker. Norm is running 12's with his stroker but.. he is not normal.. are you wanting to build a road race high revving set up? or just want more power out of your L24?
I have the 1st Gen DSM BOV also.. I have not installed it yet. What about plugging that small port on the bottom of the DSM Bov? by doing that wont it stop the leaking at idle and smaller boost levels? then you could crush it just abit to hold more boost.. Anyone else think of doing that or will it mess something up??
Gollum.. Welcome.. I think if you are going to go with a V8 you shold work on getting a super clean body. The better the Z is the easier it will be on you restoring it..The main thing to look for is Rust. make sure the frame rails are good as well. You have defenitly come to the right place for engine swaps.. The knowledge on this site is by far better then any other site I have ever gone to.
when I used to travel all the time for work.. I saw Reece wetherspoon in the ATL airport looking all decreat.. and HOT... but I did see one of the backstreet boys or boy band guys.. and was making some fun of him to my friend with me.. hahaha he was wearing a leather jacket shorts a due rag and Army boots. I could not help but make fun of him.. He kinda made fun of himself just sitting there.. .. Oh I met Tony bennet at the Gulfport MS airport one day as well.. he is SHORT.. I asked how he was doing and he muddled.. Good kid hows it goin... and gave me a smile..

Bastaad:: have you not seen the (I think) 1300 All wheel HP skyline in austrailia? it is a street driven car.. it is called the GTR700. now I am not sure if the bottom end is stock..But it runs 8.90's at 150+miles an hour.. and has full interier and not just a track car.. How is that for nissan making power.. Here is the link..
