Wow read the whole article on that page.. Very detailed. Thanks. Looks like it was a nightmare getting it registered.. you have to jump through soo many hoops.. At any rate..GREAT JOB and AWESOME Z for sure!!.
NICE You have any more?? Do you have a website with some pics and the run down to what all is done and how much boost,HP you are running.. Sounds really MEAN!! Oh,, I like the Elise as well HEHE.. VERY NICE!!!
I have a couple. I have a 240 thats not built yet.. But time is just soo hard to come by for me right now.. maybe I will build it one day.. I am going to make ZG flares for it and get different wheels.. Here are some pics..
Uh yes you are totally imagining things.. I believe the intakes have been bench flowed at great gains over the stockers. I have seen them in person and the quality is out of this world.
It is billit aluminum and looks great. It came with a nismo sticker. I am sure it is a compleat knock off but works well. It was a gift from a fellow Hybrid Zer..
Looks pretty good. I got it from Holland.. THANKS FRANK!!.. You can also see in the pic my DSM blow off valve that I am using.. Just thought I would share a couple of updated pics of my engine bay.
This first pic if just after I sandblasted it.
Here is a pic of it done and ready to install. I used Wrenkle black paint and polished the raised sections. To do this I sprayed 3 pretty thick coats of paint.. waiting 10 minutes between coats. I also used a head gun after the 3rd coat was on to cure it.
Here it is installed. Not a huge modification but so far all I had time to do.
I hear it can help out apretty good bit. but even better would be to convert it over to spraying Co2. This will make a huge difference in the cooling effect of the IC.
Here is a boost controller for you.. You could either get something like this or make one.. but this is about the price it would cost to make it. I have one like it and works fine with no spikes..

i will be using mitsu conquest wheels. they are 16x8s in the rear and 16x7s up front. the fronts are 20mm offset and the rears are -11 offset. I really like the old school look of the wheels and I dont think I will ever go bigger then 16s on my Z. I plan on polishing the lips and painting the insides a dark bronze and will most likely be using ZG flares.
And I must say.. WOW .. Thanks Ross.. the quality is there dude!!.. Great looking parts. I also got the 240sx brackets.. The front spacers seem soo thick though.. I hope to get to installing the front stuff soon. I already have Z31 5 lug hubs and rotors.. just need to get the toyota calipers and all new bearings. I will take pics of my progress when I can get it done.
Ivan, I sure hope that fixes the problem..that sucks to have soo much trouble with new parts.. Let me know how the long distance trip goes. Also let me know when you might be coming down.. I think we are having the Pat Peck nissan meet in october or something.. maby you could come down at the same time that is going on.. Good luck dude.
Mas280:: have you driven the car yet with them on it? it sure looks close to the fender there It looks like as soon as you launch the fenders will cut your tires to peices...Oh I went to your site .. NICE work.. Looks like in one of the pics your about to pull the wheels off the ground!!
I beleive that little hole in the bottom is the reason for the plunger to be open alittle at idle..by plugging it the plunger should stay closed all the time until pressure change from TB closing..
at first I was having the same problems as the rest.. it was leaking vacuum at idle. Right now I have it vented to atmosphere but I think I will curc it back in soon.. I crushed the top and that stopped the leaking. When I drove to work this morning seems not to leak under boost either. I think I am still going to plug the small hole at the bottom. But wow what a sound.. sounds cool.. Alittle louder then I would like but still cool IMO. I want to take it to the track and make sure it is not leaking boost and slowing me down any. Well anyways.. I got it for 4 bucks and Had a friend weld it on my Jpipe for me. So for the price you cannot beat it. Maybe eventually I will get one of the high doller units but for now.. we will see how this thing does.
WHOLY BEGEIZERS!!.. wow.. man you better watch out.. that thing might suck the cars infront of you to you.. So James does this mean you are leaving the Z? Or are you going to have both to play with? Sure hope you dont leave Z's behind. I am always looking forward to seeing what you are doing with it..
LOL.. MAN that dash.. looks like you will sit there and it is telling you the fries are done as well as the chicken nuggets.. " thank you drive through".. On another note.. I drove passed a very nice looking mazaratti (sp) today.. looked new.. looked alittle like a astin martin. It was nice.
