  1. Tim what does Mas-moneybags mean?? I thought $3900 was good deal for this car. I bought it from a old guy that had the motor rebuilt 20,000 miles ago. He said that the car just stoped running when he was driving. I am going to try and get the stock motor up and running, so far the fuel pump does not turn on. This car had been sitting for 11/2 years. Mike
  2. It took me a year to find one, but I found a 93 RX7 tt in good shape for cheap. My plans are to put in a 2001 LS1/t56 trans in this car. I also want ac/ps I want for this to be a very nice car. Anyone out there looking for a complete 13btt/5-speed swap for a z or a 510? I paid $3900 for the car.
  3. Congrats Joey, just let me know when you want to do some tunning. Mike
  4. Tim That is the Walbro gl392. I am going to take out the fuel system that I have and replace it with the Camaro plastic fuel tank. I have alot of work and very little time to work on my car. Mike
  5. The seats are out of a Mazda Miata. So far I like all of the Arizona Z Car parts, no complaints. I have thought about the weight of the Rinoliner mat but I think that it will be a nice sound deedner. I am the shorter guy in the pic, John is the 6'8" tall guy that has a hard time getting into his LS1z. Mike
  6. Tim it was just last Sunday that I was on the 1/4 mile strip. I plan on taking the undercarriage down to metal and then seeling it with a apoxy primer then I will take it to a spray booth and have the linex or rinoliner sprayed on. I am going to use the same stuff that they use on the beds. Mike
  7. Last sunday I got hit in the rear on my way back from the track. So I decided to get my car ready for the paint. I also wanted to detail, paint, rinoliner the undercarriage. John came over tonight to help out. It sure is nice to have the car on the rotisary. Mike
  8. Congratulation Cyrus on the swap. I hope that you keep this one longer than the ls1 swap. Mike
  9. The 98 motor heads will now flow as good as the 02 heads. David I would use a 3.5" intake, I would not do a v8 swap and then try to take some of the power away from it. I had to enlarge the hole to fit the 3.5" intake. Mike
  10. Is it better to hammer it out or just have a new panel welded in?
  11. I was rearended today on my way home from the track. I was going to wait until winter to paint my car, but I guess now I have to have it painted. My rear bumper was pushed into the rear body panel. I saw that MSA sells a new rear panel to weld in. Has anyone ever had this done before, and any advise on what I should do. Thanks Mike
  12. Looks good, let us know what it runs in the 1/4 when it is up and running.- Mike

  15. David, I put on a set of 99 Manifolds and they fit ok. Mike
  16. Cyrus buy 17x8" 5" BS I use to have 235/60/15 bfg drag radials on a 15x8 4.5" BS I will be at the CMI race AUGUST 7&8th in Sacramento. Are you going to make it?
  17. Hi Adapters will be ready in 2 weeks. Cost-------$225 for the pair. BBC Z I am using the Q45 flange and u-joint on my car. iskone With this adapter you will still need 4inner cv's and a custom axle. So how much HP do you estimate that this setup using the R230 can handle? I have been using the q45 diff now for about a year, I car has seen alot of track use. So far nothing has broken.
  18. Not a good pic but i have my intake on the pass side.
  19. Cyrus I am using the same size in the back with stock fenders. 275/40/17
  20. I have had tons of email asking me about how these adapters work. The next few pictures will show the installation process of the adapters. The first picture is me cleaning the flange with an abrasive pad or wire wheel. The tolerance on the adapters are tight so all the flanges need a good cleaning. The second picture shows the recessed holes for the 10MM allen head bolts. There is no need to drill out your flanges to a standard bolt size, that's where you loose material on the factory flange which makes it weaker. The companion flange is also recessed into the CV adapter 1/8" for added sheer strength. The third picture is showing the CV adapter being bolted to the Datsun companion flange. Here it is completed
  21. Hi, the Cv adapters will be for sale very soon. In the pictures below you can see how the adapter bolt to the stock Datsun wheel flange. The adapters also recess the Datsun wheel flange for extra strength.
  22. Down the road I might make them, but for right now I wanted to post some pics for the guys that want to make there own mounts. I am going to start selling the Q45 cv adapters. Look at the other post. Thanks Mike
