  1. Are you using the 160 thermostat? I have used two motrad 160 thermostat and both where bad. My motor would run hot at idle. Mike
  2. I had some people asking question about how the ls1 motor mount looks. Here are some pics of using the stock Datsun x-member. Mike
  3. Here are some pics of the new billet Q45 cv adapters.
  4. Mark Brakes are from Arizona Z The rear control arms are from Arizona z also The cnc control arm mounts where made by khashabi1. Only 2 sets where made, but he can make more if people want them. Tim--I am just trying to get the car complete before I paint it. I put on coil-over, tokico shocks, camber plates, adjustable control arms, 13" 6 piston brakes. Now I have to run the nice rims to clear the brakes.
  5. I do not know about them fitting with the JCI kit. They would fit on my car, Johns, and Lonestar's. Take some pics of the H2 headers. Mike
  6. David you can also use the camaro headers. they are tight but they will fit. Mike
  7. qwik240z, You can use the JTR x-member mount with the 4l60e in the 240z. This is what I used, I hate to wait on parts. But for now you can get the Fuel, wiring, cooling, drive shaft all done.
  8. I now have 275/45/17 in the back of my car. you can fit 245 without a problem. Cyrus are you ready for the track?????????
  9. I am waiting on my Panasport c8 rims 17x8"
  10. And this is why I can not drive my car
  11. this is why you can not use the stock datsun a-arm mounts, notice the gap.
  12. I wanted to post some pics of the billet A-arm mounts that I just put on my car. This will make it easier to do the q45 diff swap. Before I was running the stock rear a-arm mounts upfront to hold the arm in. this is done to eliminate the stock datsun front diff mount. the only problem is that the stock rear a-arm mounts are too small to put up front and they do not cover the bushing completely. stock datsun a-arm mount vs new billet mount
  13. My Q45 diff looks small compared to a ttr230. I hope that my q45 is a r230. But I have used and abused my q45 diff and it holds up just fine. One of these days I might put NOS on my car and give it a try. Mike
  14. Scottie I had a volvo 4dr with a 383 v8 and 175shot of nos that would run 10.6@131mph 12.0@117mph motor The car was alot of fun to drive around, I use to drive it in SanAntonio, Austin, and waco alot. My 2nd volvo was a white 4dr with a 1998 vortec 350v8 all stock with a small cam, it would run 13's all day on radials.
  15. Scottie what are you going to use for the rear end? It is looking good. My next car is going to be a 93 rx7 with a ls1/t56 trans.
  16. I am using the q45 diff in my car with very good results. The r230 from the 300zxtt might be a harder swap. Mike
  17. I am not sure that the conversion parts from the q45 will work for your r230 from the 300zxtt. I now think that the q45 is a r200 and not a r230, the r230 from the 300zxtt is wider. It would be nice if the q45 parts would work. maichor has some pics of both diffs side by side. Take a look http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/maichor75104/album?.dir=/8595&.src=ph&store=&prodid=&.done=http%3a//f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/maichor75104
  18. Cyrus, are you going to use the r200 now? I thought that you where going to use the supra rear end. Mike
  19. bpatrol let me know if you need springs. I just put coil overs on my car and I now have a set of Arizona Z-car sport springs that i donot need. Mike
  20. Joey the headers are 13/4" tubes. So fare they have been good for 405RWHP. Mike
