Guys thanks alot for replys those are some great ideas and i will give it shot in day or two. holes that i am talking about are very very small like size of small bolt (1/12 size of turn signal if not smaller). racerx i will most likey do big holes your way (like hole where wiring comes out of firewall) but is there anythying thats easy to use to plug those very small holes something like jb weld or.... any more ideas? this is whats going on right now. i have my engine and tranny out, all the brake lines (engine bay only), all the brackets grinded off, hiden wiring... now i have bunch of small holes that i need to fill in but i really dont feel like bugging my uncle (pro welder) for job like that. i am just wondering if there is any other way to fill in those small holes that does not include welding or using torch. i am open to any sugestions. Here is my video http://home.comcast.net/~240drifter/steve2.wmv its kinda dark but you can still see everything. first race is second gen. talon awd (16g turbo, All the bolt ons except front mount i/c) vs. stock evo8. second and third run is me vs. same talon (from 15mph). in first run i think he missed second and in second run he cluchted it to 6k and right there got about car and half on me so i had to catch up. you can just hear my external wastgate screaming . my setup at that time was stock t-3 10psi no i/c and air/fuel was about 9-5, 10-0 so i was puking gas all over the place (hey meskitos sp sure did like it lol). mr_manny welcome to hybridz bud you will love this place . when you sectioned your front struts how much did you gain in strut travel? most of the people say two inches did u gain that much? Ivan

I pm'ed few of our suspension guru's and i got what i was looking for. for the front i need mr2 struts (#Tokico BZ3099 ) and for the back use 240z front struts. now that wasn't so bad . Ivan

search is down so i have no choice but to ask this question. is euro pulley the same pulley thats on 240z's or is it completelly different thing? thanks ivan

Mike, my wheels are taller then yours (18's) and in the back its just fine plenty of strut travel but its the front that i dont like there is barelly like 3-4 inches of travel and my car is bareally lowered down (had it next to stock 78 280z) so i would really like to get about two more inches of travel for the front. you see where i am going with this? ps. my front spring rate is front #150 back #175 Ivan

i know that this subject has been beat up to death and i have done search but i think that there is something wrong with search function. this is my question. can i section 240z struts about two inches and if i can which sturts should i order. i have read about some vw and mr2 but i am not sure if that was only for 280's. any sugestions is more that welcome. I have a turbo short block that has been sitting on engine stand for about year (i coated it with oil) and now i am about ready to use it but on one or two cylinders there is like little surface rust on top of it so now i am wondering if i can just go and take it off with some steel wool or should i just leave it alone? i will take some picture of it tomorow and post it but right now i would just like to hear some opinions. I went to auto zone few hours ago to get me set of jack stands and while in line i was checking new issue of sport compact car and what do you know there is 280z with ls1 in reader rides and guess who is the owner of the car??? its Bill Davies sweet and beautifull red 280z so guys go and check it out it the first few pages i think. congratulations to Bill for kicking all those dang rice mobiles out and finally geting very much deserved attention. Hey guys i am just wondering what compression do you get when u use 1mm metal head gasket and what do you get when u use 2mm metal head gasket on l28t? i can get a used 1mm for $50 or should i just use a stock oem nissan head gasket which also goes for about $50 brand new. please let me know what you guys think.
