  7. Posted Image What we can gather from the news site is that the whole operation isn’t as shady as you would imagine, as the makers of these imitation brakes actually has a showroom, warehouse and a workshop! The shop owner, known as Chen, mentions that the brakes are even used in some Macau races. Even more worryingly, Chen has claimed that he has exported quite a number of these counterfeit brakes to Malaysia. The reporter has also noted that the warehouse has stocked a lot of these counterfeit brake calipers and disc rotors, which they suspect might be for wholesale purposes. Posted Image Chen does not counterfeit only Brembo, as he claims that he also produces AP Racing brakes and other well known brakes. Several experts has voiced their concerns over these fake brake kits, as using imitation brake kits can cause fatal accidents, since they do not stand up to the strict quality control Brembo and other manufacturers impose. So guys, if you do happen to come across some brand new, but dubiously cheap Brembo brakes, please proceed with extreme caution, as these counterfeit brakes do not perform like how the originals should. The car’s braking system should not be taken lightly, as this is a matter of life and death. Photo credit goes back to Apple News HK. 18. You know Im not surprised after the story I heard about a 432Z that was bought at a very well respected place in Japan. I only thought clones were a part of the Muscle car american iron classics, NOPE, Honor is dead in japan and it's the land of Potato and Rap music now.
  19. I know this subject has been beaten into the ground but, what overall have members spent on the install kits and who do you guys use for the install kits ? And on the engine side of things what is the the SLP package on some of the throttle by cable motors that is on the air box on the camaro's with the LS1 motors. Is it a better or worth the cost to get a LS2 motor over the LS1 ? Thanks
  20. OK 65F is a zenki motor from the 1994/95 S14 now if it was a true 1998 motor it would have an 80F stamp on the motor. _ never seen one. that motor should have a WC ECU with the part # 23710 65F 00 on the ecu and if it was a true 1998 motor you would be paying way more for it since its a rarer item and it would have a NA on the ecu lable with a part # 23710 80F00
  21. I can not agree with you anymore, OP just try to find a pathfinder 2.5 Turbo Diesel motor - they are out there - not cheap but go that route if you want but its super heavy. the YD27 motor is better but not going to find one state side if your located in the usa land ! German cars are known for safety and performance - now before you jump on me - performance from European cars is New off the show room floor (OEM) no mods - simply is just how deep can your pockets go is how fast you want to go. Hence the word
  22. Did you check rock auto ? or centric brake parts ? they have to have it.
