Thats odd. Try this. Logout of the forums. Then try and login again except this time use the "forgot password" option. Check your email, did you get a password reset email? Oh, don't click the link in the email if you got it, just ignore it.

I installed a 3rd party search engine today, very powerful I suggest reading this to understand how to form search queries.

Fixed. Unfortunately there is not an option now to prevent other members from posting in your build threads But, I am thinking about making it so that you can moderate posts in your build threads and just delete any posts made by other members that you don't want to clutter up your thread with.

Ok, installed the new search engine. Here the basic query syntax you can use in the search box. Boolean query syntax Boolean queries allow the following special operators to be used: explicit operator AND:hello & world operator OR:hello | world operator NOT:hello -worldhello !world grouping:( hello world ) Here's an example query which uses all these operators: Example 5. Boolean query example ( cat -dog ) | ( cat -mouse)<br class="example-break"> There always is implicit AND operator, so "hello world" query actually means "hello & world". OR operator precedence is higher than AND, so "looking for cat | dog | mouse" means "looking for ( cat | dog | mouse )" and not "(looking for cat) | dog | mouse". For more advanced searching options you can have a look at the manual here.

The built in search engine is not so great. I am working right now on setting up a separate more advanced search engine using a 3rd party application. Ill keep you guys updated.

Go to your user control panel find: Search Settings View New Content Method Change to Show me all content that I have not read.

Yup, it seems that all posts you have ever made became watched threads. You will need to go to your control panel and remove them all by hand. Yes some of them are broken and attachments in threads are not showing thumbnails for some reason, when you click on them they work fine. I'm still working on these problems. You are trying to link a youtube, yahoo or other type of video right? The video section does not allow "uploaded videos"

Ok, I enabled the default theme for those of you having issues with the red/white layout. You can change it in the drop down box on the bottom left corner of the page, it's called "IP.Board" If anyone here is good with photoshop and would like to help me I could really use it. I need our logo added to the IP.Board theme to replace the default one. I only have the logo in .jpg format and do not know how to do stuff like make the background transparent. I don't know crap about photoshop I'm still working out the settings with the new software so some of the problems / missing features should be working again real soon. My priority was to get the site back up and working, I'm still turning the knobs and pushing buttons so to speak with the new software. Thanks, Dan
