The JTR headers are Sandersons and they will work great had a set on my car before the longtubes and gave them to a buddy of mine. Tex 300 when in sept are you coming through?? Several of us are going to the 1/2 mile shootout mid sept if you want to join us. -

Tex300's trans cross member is not from hawks. Hawks cross member is tucked up more. Bottom line--- You need a weld in mount for these cars !!! with the amount of hp some of us are putting out any rigidity we can add is a huge plus. And unfortunately you need to weld to add strength -

No drilling with the hawks kit but there is welding involved and Bruces kit is made in the USA not China lol -

Ok guys here's the deal steering clearance is not an issue. The shaft has to be removed to install the ds header. As far as rack clearance the production mounts are designed to clear a 10% od crank pulley for supercharger applications sooooo a standard pulley clears w lots of room to spare and Bruces hood shuts w the magnacharger w no issues.. These mounts were built to position the engine in the best location possible. Lets face the facts the JCI tranny mount is not the best option with mosf S30 cars having floorpan issues. In a nutshell this is just a more modern option that does not take up as much room as anything else available. Very Cool design IMO. -

I do know the headers are a work of art and work and fit great on 280's. Engine mounts are very clean and set the motor in the correct location. I just had my car corner balanced and aligned and it was virtually 50/50 front to rear -
I would recommend the HAWKS 3rd gen mounts he has headers and anything LS that you will need and his mounts are sexier than the other mounts that are available. The LQ4 6.0 is fine but as mentioned intake will need to be changed.

its either LS1 /LS2 Corvette look and see if it has a throttle cqnle or dbw hrottle. its not a Z06 motor w automatic flexplate

CV half-shaft swaps in 2014 any less expensive alternatives?

280 zxt is 4 bolt and the 280x na is 6 bolts. I have dealt with Joe and can say he always answers and returns calls. He was out of shortrned shafts last week when I snapped one at the local dragstrip. I was n a pinch and had a local friend machine replacement shafts n the correct length in 1 day. they are made from a different material I believe its flexcore?? Which is used a lot in aftermarket CV high hp applications. These are available fof $350 per pr. He can do a run of 300M shafts which would be bomb proof but would require a larger run due to costs of machining heat treating etc. let me know if anyone is interested. -

There is another option that mounts a Sanden SD7 mini compressor on the passenger side down low and back that runs off the back balancer grooves. Keeps the top of the engine a lot cleaner and tucks n very nice.. -

I Would assume they were built around the JCI kit rather than the dirty dingo universal mount you used. safe to say they fit ok with the jci stuff but not quite as good as the Hawks headers. -

halfshafts should live with a little common sense. if u ever do decide to go drag racing theyre done. Upgraded axle shafts are available. This is by far IMO the best money I have ever spent on a datsun. Good luck and I promise youll have no regrets. -
Hawks 3rd gen in easley SC he sells mounts and headers for S30's also has chassis dyno etc very knowledgeable. 864-855-2694 ask for Bruce

I actually ordered their kit and sent it back. The engine sits way to far forward with the BRP KIT.
