  1. Sure check it out but I have built over 20 of these motors and know enough to check tolerences before install. Sometimes I take it for granted that everyone would know this
  2. do you have an injector to swap ? could be that injector. have you pulled the plugs ? compression test yet ?
  3. Knocking noises are never good. You have new gaskets for that exhaust ? Torqued all bolts ? Any performace or idle problem ?
  4. no but you should be useing engine assembly lube. put lots of lube between bearing and cap and press hard making sure the algnment notch sits into place. The lube should glue it into place.

  12. If you want to drive your car for awhile I would suggest rebuilding the head before install. Shouldn't be too expensive. $200 max. A good investment and will restore horsepower you were probably missing.

  17. Hey thanks for the link up. Sent a PM. Love this site
  18. You can run your motor on 20-50 But everytime you start it it takes 2 secs to build pressure. That is 2 secs too long and will hurt your motor every start. Think about it
  19. Ouch man ! I would not trust anyone else to put your investment back together. Take the time and have piece of mind. Sorry to hear about your troubles. These are great engines and built right they take a kicking.
  20. These fans are notorious for bad grounds. Check the ground from the motor. I have bypassed the ground many times for these heaters. Just run a new ground to replace the original.
