any guesses on what kind of power would be best to charge something that size???
follow up question.. could you over charge in this process??
like say 12v in a 10 gallon tub...?

a fellow Z enthusiest and I were actually talking about this swap about a month ago..
we concluded that a boosted 4.0 straight 6 motor would be rockin in a Z..
i say go for it and tell us how it pans out.
i've run about 10 different exhaust setups on my 280zx..
the most interesting one was i think a long tube header w/ 2.25 inch piping and a streetable quite muffler.. electronic exhaust cutout right after the header.
start doing freeway pulls and open the cutout in mid gear... teaches you a lot about how these motors pull when you loose back pressure.
does this car drive at night?
the reason i ask is because my S30 has the headlights covered like this and i've been trying to figure out a small/good light option..
i like these, but i would be concerned about nighttime visibility.
it depends on how "covered" you want the car to be...
i used a Dynamat bulk pack that barely covered the back up to the seats... just remember the more you use, the heavier it gets.
open up the exhaust, add nitrous..
i had a buddy do that on a 81 NA for years.. made a tired old motor crush people in a straight line..
read up on how to use nitrous first though.. used incorrectly you will be replacing your motor very fast.
