Spent a lot of time staring at a 240sx on a rack putting in a rear subframe, and they are STRONG. Out loud I said "Wow, its just like a Z, except its a whole lot stronger and newer, and the stock rear setup on a early Z can take a lot of pain, this 240sx can take a bit more." Basically a full frame car from bumper support to bumper support, 6 link double A arm rear suspension and a good IRS and CV setup. Working on picking one up this week. I know there is no JTR conversion for this one but was hoping there was anyone in this world thats done it so I could take notes. Im looking to do an Lt1 t56. I just picked up a Lt1 longblock with accesories and harness and 4l60e ( probably selling the tranny to help pay for a 6speed) for a steal, and would like to get this project rolling in the next few months. Going for 300rwhp probably 400lbs with drag radials and 4.08 gearing, hopefully someone knew somebody thats done it.

my 3" pipe with 45s will clear the s130t frame and tranny. 2.5 clears all with 45s. I may make one with an egr fitting. with the 3" the 45 has to start a bit_________and 45 again at_____axis To clear a 3" on the t3 flange I had a CNC guy ______ a bit and enlarge ______ just a tad bit...

Soon to be making both, the 3" will fit an s130 and I will check to see if it can also fit s30 with T swap and the t5. 3" features a CNC t3 flange specifically fabricated to clear the 3" to fit 3". 1 o2 bung standard 2 02 bungs is extra. 3" available with t4 flange. Once I test fit the 3" and get it ready for s130t chassis, they will be out and available.

had to be that starion intercooler. I hear that they arent so bad if you upgrade the piping to 2.25 or 2.5, but its probably not worth the work. NPR big size is GOOD..

I can run mid to low 14s all the livelong mothergrabbing day at stock boost, no intercooler, 3" exh and good fuel mods (pump, regulator, new injectors, new filter,) and a 60mm tb. I do have 3.7 lsd and know how to make it work for me though on H rated street tires 215/60/15 and no rear sway bar. My car is heavy, 75 280z with dual ported 10" subs and amps, full heater controls, z32 leather seats(heavy but i cant feel the road through my butt anymore) etc. etc.

Mike, Im thinking you are getting a lot of boost restriction from the intercooler, currently run with no intercooler and I get 6.5 psi that spikes 8 and comes back to 6.5 and holds to redline.
