I think I was just lucky, I was just in my friends 77 and it has exhaust stench almighty. Another couple places to look for leaks would be that gas tank vent hoses and the lines around the Gas tank fill area. The coupler can get holes and let off gas vapor, which smells just like exhaust. The hoses around that area can get cracks as well. Tailight seals, antenna hole, maybe the holes in the tire well that should have a plug as well? Ive seen a lot of z's that run their exhaust pretty far out the back of the car with a turndown at the end. Another one of my buddies runs his exhaust out the side of his car with a retangular tip that comes out flush with the buttom of the 1/4, looks cool but it didnt help the exhaust smell too good.

I like it, (not in yellow), but I like the platform, they remind me of those MRWD minivans I rode around a bunch in when I was in China.

At 6500 it sounds like he was just selling it to concentrate on bigger things. You dont need the RRFPR with that tec2 unit, I would bypass and eliminate it, and get some dyno time with that setup.

I saw that too and I like the packaging and how they address the coil on plug configuration. There are cheap Ls1s to be had out there, ones with the efi harnesses chopped up, missing sensors, etc. How much is that setup anyway?

If you already have it painted, youre halfway to making a great return on a 400.00 investment. Get it running solid and make some money off that car, and put it into one of your other cars, or keep it.

Yes, I carry a pen to mark parts when I grab them out the JY, and sometimes when my buddies are taking too long I get ansy. Been on a two year long crusade to pick up any l28et parts that I could for spares, quit that stuff though. Sold mostly everything and now putting together a "boring" 75 NA for autox.

I know the clutch disk will work, its a 225mm. Never tried the pp and dont think the flywheel will work.

Different problem in NorCal, our junkyards are overfull of z31 and its getting harder and harder for us to find 70-8 cars!! 79-83 cars getting harder as well.

Are you 100% sure that you put the calipers on the right sides? If you switch sides, the brakes have been known to do exactly what you are describing.

Just had the same issue on a 280z. What happened on was when I installed the newer throttle body, I couldnt use the Air Regulator and had to reroute the hose from the cam cover. I tried to plumb that hose right in front of the tb, it really didnt like that and wouldnt idle. Couldnt plumb it in factory style ahead of the tb just behind the afm, so I plugged it off and ran a breather on the cam cover and now it idles. Also check the return spring. Unplug the tps and see if anything changes. if tps is at fault unplugging it will cause car to run a little richer but symtoms will go away. ALso could be a small vacum leak from the throttle body flange. You may have also ripped the boot stretching it over the tb as well, and caused a leak causing it to stall.

With the jtr position I believe you would have to pull the engine at least off its mounts, if not out of the car to get the heads if you go headstuds

Asia does have some good Djs, the one hip hop venue I went to in HK was crazy good, but they were playing American music, and they were about six months behind. I am and always will be an E40 fan, have every album and a million and one different remixes and guest appearance songs. There aint nothing like mob style music....

I would again say no to good Indie groups from Asia, my people still have a ways to go compared to Europe and US. I bet Europe does have a great number of Indie groups, but its easier to track them down if you are over there, same way it is easier to track US indie groups here.

NA motor can be turboed and make power, but its often cheaper, better, and stronger, in my opinion and experience to just do the whole l28et engine, unless you have this parts list on hand.. Turbo oil pump oil pan injectors eccs efi harness and sensors dp exh manifold and turb0 piecing it together costs more than the turbo setup if you can get one complete, which ive seen anywhere from 150-500.00 and last two parts zxt cars ive had cost me less than 500.00 each, selling parts of the t5 car actually net me a small profit which I used to add a few fresh sensors and parts to the conversion. Not trying to crush the dream, but it sounds like you want a car that has good zip and is reliable, the stock zxt setup in a z can do that easily, wheras turboing an NA engine opens up more variables that must be addressed due to the car not being initially setup for turbocharging and the addition of a turbo. Not saying it couldnt or shouldnt be done, but this isnt what ive heard, this is what I know.

I dont know of anyone that can rap on the same levels on the underground rap groups that you listed. I know Dale (bayareazt) listens to slug and atmosphere and probably others you listed, Ive heard them before but honestly cant stand them too much, I can admire their concepts and some of them have good flows, but the package isnt selling well on me. All the hip hop ive heard from Korea, Japan, and China, really sucks, and I hate to say it. Rappers in Hong Kong and China have come a long way though, but the music seems based on a poppier sounds and it just hasnt evolved completely.I was just in China a few months back and went to clubs every day and night and didnt hear a rapper able to hold it down like they do here, in Chinese or English. I dont listen to hip hop too much anymore, I mainly listen to Bay Area rap and older music nowadays. Im too busy BEING hip hop, defined in my masters thesis as it suits my theoretic disertation as being "the art of making the best out of a f---ed situation."
