  1. Talking about this? I have two of those I just bought to use, but I ended up not using them. They are the ones from MSA they cost me around $50. The guy at MSA said that on a Z with EFI it won't bolt up on the rear without hitting the intake as the slingers are for a Early Z. I'm not sure if both Rears, by using one in the front and one in the back will work. Let me know what you want to do I will sell them for $35 plus shipping which is about 11 bucks, thats just a guesstimate though. Nathan
  2. Maybe doing a google search of Mikuni or weber would be a start?
  3. I have been to that Pick and Pull before, and knowing them it will be crushed by the end of the week. They never keep the older imports for long. I used to have to wait months to see One Z there.
  4. Might be better to ask that in a BMW forum, but I'm sure you could look on the "Altenator" on your BMW you already have to find out which one you need.
  5. There is a reason it didn't let you post in classifieds, you need to be a Donating Member. I hope you are able to donate so you get the privilege to sell your car.
  6. It wasn't that hard for me I have done it a few times, If you have the rails which the window slides on already installed just slide the window into those slots in the rails in the door. Then roll the window crank down until the holes line up in the middle I believe then roll the window up to get access to the far end holes. I'm not sure if this is the right sequence but once you slide the window down the slots you will be able to figure it out.
  7. The reason I believe it won't is because the designers are being wasteful by letting air out the exhaust instead of capturing it and using it to compress the tanks. It would be like a Air compressor running of air to make air, probably wouldn't be very efficent but working along side a compressor it would be better then just wasting it out into the air. That is just my opinion though.
  8. I had to hammer mine on, it sounds like yours are pretty bad, make sure your putting them on right and if it still doesn't work you may need to call the company about it.
  9. Haha this is sort of funny to me because I'm doing a little project with my go kart to make it run completely off compressed air. Yeah I know its not practical or very efficent, but it gives me something to do and I want to test some ideas I have also.
  10. The 5x114.3 to 4x114.3 adapters are two inches thick and with 16x10 wheels that would be pretty extreme, I have no idea about drilling the wheels but you can always drill out your drum brakes and buy some 5x114.3 hubs.
  11. Their classification for Low retail is for a daily driver in decent condition, which doesn't seem to bad to me, The 240z is getting old and its not like its a later model datsun.
  12. Buy a fabric dash cover if it bothers you that much, I can't really think of anyway you could fix it except cutting a chunk out and totally repairing it like everyone else does.
  13. Well the computer I had the pictures on the internet isn't working but I will find some pictures, Also I forgot to mention it has a custom throttle linkage that uses the stock linkage so you don't have to use a cable, it runs fine with the two barrel, its Holley Race carb, It will include the filter ground down to fit under the hood also it was machined down so it would bolt up to the engine if you have a header. All you will need to do is bolt the thing on, bring the fuel PSI to around 5-7 PSI, probably tune it a bit and you should be good. I will get some more pictures tomorrow, my flight yesterday was terrible and took 4 hours longer then scheduled. If you want to know anything else just send me a PM, I sent another intake a while ago to Cali and the shipping was around 14 bucks so its not too bad. I'll even throw in the PSI gauge to go along with it. For 50 bucks I will add in the Low PSI fuel pump and Custom bracket with it, then all you would need is a Fuel regulator to bring the PSI down a bit.
  14. I have a Clifford Intake, It has a two barrel on it now, but you can put a 4 barrel on it. I am in vegas right now but I get back home saturday and can send you some pictures. I haven't really seen these for sale a lot so I don't know how much to sell it for and these intakes are fairly rare so $300 + shipping and its all yours.
  15. The real question is, can the R200 handle it?
  16. I don't understand how they are going to go from the Camaro to a Datsun 510. It seems like they should have done it with a Datsun 510 the whole time? Maybe its a different transformer, doesn't make sense to me haha.
  17. I think the biggest anyone has ever gone is 18 inches, and they were 350z wheels. You couldn't lower your car because I doubt they would even fit on the suspension or fit under the body very well without modifications. Found a thread full of pics of 18inch rims on Z's. http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php?/topic/68104-req-pics-of-18-wheels-on-s30-240260280z/ Edit: Found the 350z rims. As you can see they are a pretty tight fit, and if I remember correctly needed some spacers and other mods.
  18. Maybe you can ask him yourself. Here is the link to the thread. http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php?/topic/80625-the-official-white-z-thread/
  19. Nah you have to put a huge stinky diesel with stacks coming out of the roof just to piss other prius owners off haha. Just imagine flooring it and having it billowing out smoke all over the place.
  20. I believe that is a Jim Cook racing Body kit, they don't make them anymore.
  21. I sat in an Electric Smart car once, they are pretty roomy for being so small and I'm about 6 Foot. I would totally buy one someday, just for the heck of it.
  22. Sometimes you just have to break out the vise grip and man handle it. Are you talking about the metal line between the brake and the rubber line or the rubber line?
