  1. Wicked nasty stance. Love it!!! Nice job doing all of the work yourself. Gotta respect that. Since you don't have a build thread I'm going to let the questions fly: Front and rear rim size and offset? Front and rear tire size? What, if any, cutting/rolling did you do under the rear flares? How much clearance do you have in the rear at the pictured ride height? Thanks in advance for your response.
  2. Images attached of what I pulled for you: entire pedal box but will remove the pedals and springs if that is all you need, clutch master with clevis pin, clutch slave with bolts, hard line from master to slave and the flywheel with all associated bolts. I was not able to get the shifter plate. I cannot verify if the master and slave are in working order. They would be sent along so you can try them.
  3. I am in the process of pulling all of those items this morning. I'm not 100% certain of the operating condition of everything (specifically the slave and master) but will extract all items from the list above to make you a package deal.
  4. I'm not certain what the pedal box looks like for an automatic versus a standard. I am going by what David suggested. I would be surprised if they weren't the same. Nonetheless, if you think you need to go the full assembly direction z-ya was first in line. If you can't strike a deal with him or you just want the pedals and springs let me know. I will be pulling the entire assembly out of the car just to have it available. Cheers, Craig
  5. I have the OE driver's door mirror pulled from my '71. Overall it is in good condition. Chrome is quite nice. Mirror glass is good. Mirror back has a few light blemishes and a slight depression at the mount point I assume from being bumped at some point in its life. The images below pretty accurately depict the condition. Let me know if this is of interest to you.
  6. I currently have a junker 260Z I am stripping prior to sending it off to the great scrap yard in the sky. I hope to have it gone by late Saturday morning but could pull the items you would need prior to that.
  7. I have an '83 that I am parting out. I will need to look closely at the rear bumper cover to make certain it is of acceptable quality. I will be traveling to the Meadville area for Thanksgiving so there is an opportunity to meet and avoid shipping. Let me know if the timing would work for you then I will inspect the one I have.
  8. The answer to the first question is, I am fairly certain. A little history: the Suspension Techniques springs came off of a friend's 260Z when he wanted to go back to stock. We pulled the ST springs and put my '71 240 springs on his car. Everything fit perfectly so based on this I deduce the ST springs will work on the 240Z. On his 260Z they gave close to an inch and a half drop. I would like $140 for the springs shipped to your zip code. This puts the springs at less than $100 due to the somewhat high shipping cost.
  9. I have a set of used Suspension Techniques springs ready for delivery
  10. Message sent to Blake. Payment ready. Getting anxious. Thanks for all the leg work David.
  11. Should your dealings with grretc not yield what you want I have a good set from my '71. According to the records that came with my car they were new in '91. Certainly look that way: very clean with no rust.
  12. I didn't think the c-pillar emblems were side specific. Hopefully someone out there can verify. If indeed they are not side specific and you choose to go with inline6's single emblem I have one very good one to marry with it. Chrome is quite good. Both tabs are there with the retainer clips. Just needs a little touch up on the white in the Z and a little black. Nice example pulled from my '71.
  13. Not spent but expected (projected) to spend. Clive is correct, I am being very meticulous about tracking and estimating this project. $24k so far and the car is still just a shell (actually I have a lot of the goodies to bolt on.) So how does it become nearly $40k. Purchasing a good Arizona car then starting with a complete ground up including soda blasting to bare metal, many coats of paint, lots of sound deadening and heat insulation, lots of carbon fiber bits, all AZC underpinnings, Brembo brakes from an EVO, Z31 R200, all new bolts & seals, long tube headers, LS1 modifications, Vintage Air system, roll cage, Corbeau bits, etc, etc, etc.... Suffice it to say I was shocked when I plugged everything into the spreadsheet. I would be more than happy to pass along the spreadsheet if it helps you. If I wasn't constantly working on this car I would actually start a build thread. Sorry for having not done that yet.
  14. if i remember correctly, the original bushes are split making it difficult to do so. anyway, he [jimmyz machinest guy] won't do anything half-arse and insisted on making the new bushes. who am i to argue?! i'm at litmans house this weekend for a driving event at watkins glen [didn't realize e was signed in when i replied to this-1 tuff z]
  15. *** Subscribed *** I will be very interested to watch your progress. It looks like you will have some of the same dilemmas I am facing. The first confirmed one is mating the Z31 CV shafts to the stub axles. I hope you are successful in cornering Ross as I too NEED that solution. You may want to up your total project budget by a few bills. My LS1/T56 ground up resto-mod project is projected to come in just shy of $40k with the drivetrain being free (purchased complete F-body and sold parts to cover its cost) and 95% of the work being done by yours truly (and 1 tuff z). Keep the updates coming!
  16. Obviously these can't be one size fits all but if possible please keep those rare people (me) that are using C5 motor mounts in mind. It would really be a bummer if the design to accomodate the JCI motor mounts ends up interfering with my C5 mounts by 1mm. David, I'll snap some images of the LSx with C5 mounts attached to use as a guide. I understand if this makes the design overly difficult I am SOL.
  17. I have a nice set of fuel tank straps and J bolts from my '71Z (Arizona car). I will capture some images of the items tomorrow and send them to your email. Many thanks
  18. I have a very nice condition spare cowl panel available for you. I will pull it out tomorrow, compare it to my '71 cowl then send you a picture provided it is indeed what you specifically request. Panel is located in Upstate NY. Depending on Clive's travel schedule I might be able to con him into hauling it back to the city at some point in hopefully the near future . I'll send the image and price to your email tomorrow. Many thanks
  19. As we discussed David I will commit to a set, standard options. Should they not work with my C5 motor mount set-up I would be selling them to someone else on your list. I'm anxious to see detailed pictures from the prototype on SunnyZ's car to get a feel whether or not this solves my specific dilemma. Thanks for taking the initiative.
