I been searching for a while now and can't seem to find anyone that's installed a P79 on a 83 L28ET, unless of course I missed it? So my goal is just to run this head temporarily until I can get my P90 rebuild. I have a loud ticking coming from my P90a head for sometime so I haven't driven my car much. I'm low on cash and unemployed which really sucks but I need to be on the look for jobs and this is holding me up. I know so far the compression will go up and so I would have to run low boost but the problem is I don't have a good boost controller. Would it be safe to run it on stock boost, my set up now is 83 L28ET with AiResearch T3/TO4E, turbo 87 Z31 ECU, MAF, stock exhaust, stock injectors & non intercooled. Any help as always will be greatly appreciated!

Man this really motivated me to do a twin turbo on my L28 but i don't think it will be anytime soon. Thanks for sharing!

Sounds like maybe your shocks might be shot get them checked or you can even build your own coil over suspension if you got the tools and a way to even weld theres a thread on here that tells you how build your own coil over kit might wanna look into that, if not then maybe some buy some new shocks? You can try the 79-85 RX7's there a little smaller but worth a shot, some people at gas stations always think my car is a RX7 I don't know why when it says Nissan in the back and 280zx on the sides!

Is your suspension stock or aftermarket?

I was a GT fan from the start and Id have to say that gt5 really sucks, the only reason it seemed rushed is because it was the creator of the game was going to take even longer to release it. I guess I would of rather waited, I been playing forza 2, and now 3 since it cameout and it's by far one of the funnest car games around. But forza needs to really update more on cars before forza 4!

if that R200 is going in an early Z i believe you need a mustache bar to do the conversion, at least i know because my buddy john did it to his 240z.

You guys opened my eyes a lot more, you got great advice i never thought about all those things. See i always wanted a S30 didn't matter if it was a 240z, 260z, or 280z but now i will be very careful and read that thread and make sure I'm making the right choice for myself thank you for the replies guys. I'll keep you guys updated to see if i can get some pic's and maybe a video of the car.

Yeah that crossed my mind but checking it out in person is the only way to find out i guess? I see a lot of Z's & ZX's for sale that hardly have any rust for a good price, there is a 73 240z here for sale also with the same engine but the body has been badly modified selling for $3500. The 240z's fender and whale tail wing has some pretty good cracks and you can see some rust threw the cracks. Anyway heres some pictures of the 260z i got off the Craigslist ad.

Hello everyone I usually post on the S130 section but now I might be on here as well, I just found a 260z that's for sale not to far from where I live here in southern Oregon. I been asking around if $1200 maybe less for a 327 V8 powered 260z & 3 speed auto is a good price and worth buying? The Z looks to be in fair condition and has a aftermarket air dam 280z hood some generic wide old chrome wheels. It also looks to be a little faded in some body parts but still the same color, oh yeah and it has shaved door handle which is something I didn't like. Any suggestions and pointers would be awesome thanks!

Pictures of my original uninstalled 280zxR Wing i bought from a member here that i just got a few days ago. I had been waiting for sometime now to finally come across one its actually very light, ligher than i expected about 15lbs. I just need to find a wiperless hatch or take my wiper off and hope water won't get in after i install it. Pictures he had posted before i bought it

I'd be very interested in that rear sump, my plans on putting a RB in my ZX were ruin when I got a cracked block from the company I got the engine from, any one In the U.S. That could supply the rear sump and mounts I need to buy.
