  1. alot of info within a few hours, anyone know the spline count or a way i can identify if its t5 trans/driveshaft. Ill try to jam the driveshaft one more time, RB240z how mucb was your driveshaft? Seriously tho thanks
  2. This is awesome, got the fighter shark on the side there too? Good stuff man keep it coming
  3. Yeah i was thinking that maybe he told him it was a zx tranny rather than a 280z. If i find the matching driveshaft and its too long can i just swap the yokes (i think thats it is)?
  4. It doesnt match the new trans i got, its another five speed from 280zx but dont remember the year. Previously in my car was apparently a 280zx tranny but the part that doesnt match up is the teeth on the driveshaff to the trans. My first trans would always shoot out fifth gear and eventually spread(year of driving), i wouldnt think a driveshaft would do something like that, plus if it be half inch longer i wouldnt think it would fit all together. Is there a difference between the 280zvs280zx driveshafts?
  5. Friend got his 73' 240z he was told that it had a five speed out of a 2dr 280zx. After i got it from him a few months later the tranny gave way, so i picked up another transmission and realized the driveshaft doesn't mesh with the transmission i have. So do i need a zx driveshaft or some type of driveshaft combo? Btw for now im running an r180. Thanks
  6. Work Equips Fr-15x8.5 , 195/55 Rr-15x9.5, 225/50 Cant source offsets tho
  7. The z on equips, why dont you search speedhunters they have the specs and did a feature if i find it ill post specs
  8. I searched before i posted and found the threads about the l24 stroker/l26, was hoping to hear personal experience with it. Any differences between a l26 and the l24 "stroker"? (shoulda been my first post)
  9. Can anyone shed some light on the benefit of a l28 crank in a l24?
  10. Thats funny my 16x8 205/40 need some fender rolling for sure and would assume the x9's would need roll and pull. Were they rubbing at all?
  11. both suck, get some quality coilovers and be happy. I had KTS coils on my z31 and fell in love.
  12. Im on Fnf's non-adjustables, i cant really tell in your pic because of the lighting. But seems its definately around 4-5 degrees then again im no proffesional at eyeballing. I have T3 weld camber plates for the front and rear (not installed yet). Ill post some pics when i got everything up to speed. I want to get some higher grade coils but this is simply a test run with the fnfs for now.
  13. As posted in the the title im looking for 15/16 mastercylinder resvoirs and caps, please and thank you.
  14. Im on (assuming u are) dc2 coilovers aswell but i dont its at 6 degrees lol
  15. In other words, not rotas/xxrs/etc lol. Btw how much does each wheel weigh?
  16. Why didnt you just drill two mounting holes for the rear coils? Or weld a pair camber plates?
  17. What do you mean by rotor system is shared, by what exactly? So from what i can see its resevoir/mc/proportioning valve/lines/and rotors if im correct? I havent heard good things with the ksport ebrake i was just going to get a driftoworks one or something. Have you used it at all yet?
  18. This is interesting me, im trying to to the same thing and going to pick up hydaulic ebrake this winter. Is your system connected with the factory brake system or is yours just resevoir-ebrake mc- rear calipers? Also why not get the wilwood 3/4mc with resevoir?
  19. I iust purchased my 15/16 mc, anyone have the calipers for cheap.
  20. Im looking to finish my rear disk conv, so im looking for 15/16 master cylinder and 86 maxima calipers. Thanks
  21. I dont know if you noticed or just detached it for the pic. One of the mouse trap springs (2nd to the left) isnt on completely, also is the cam internally or externally oiled? Im no expert but small things can be a big cause.
  22. Just as the title says, if it has 15/16 stamped on it, I want it. Need it for my 73 240z.
