  1. I would love to go if my car ever gets out of bodyshop prison! If it's still there maybe I will bring the V8 car or the GN. Let me know when your going. Joe
  2. Your problem is with the booster pin lengh. You need to use a pin from a ZX because the setting for the pin is slightly less than 5mm longer for the ZX M/C than the 240 M/C. I don't think the 240 booster pin can adjust that far out. Joe
  3. Your correct. The downpipe will not fit a with a T5 trans as built. I had this problem about three years ago. I asked Scottie to have one made with the flange turned 5 degrees. This worked out better but still requred grinding on the T5 bellhousing. Joe
  4. I see your taking the car from Vermont. Please remember the halfshafts and if you decide not to get the car let me know. I'll still go get it. joe
  5. Stop by! Bring the wife and kids! My 4 year old would love some new kids to play with. The wife is getting used to "entertaining" my car friends significant others
  6. These are my cars. http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/album_pic.php?pic_id=70 If the link doesn't work the picture is on page 11 of the album. The red one is a V8 early 260 with a 327, Super T10 and Datsun Comp Posi. The yellow on is a 71 240 with a l28t, BW T-5, R200, T3/T40e hybrid, TEC II, spearco intercooler core with custom tanks, yada yada yada. I have run the 260 (12.8 @ 109) but haven't run the 240 yet. Joe
  7. Sounds good! I'm in Bergen County. I could even bring my 240t if I ever get the intercooler plumbing finished. Joe
  8. Jersey, Where are you running? Island? Where do you live? I'd like to get together to do some bench racing sometime! Joe
  9. I'm gonna throw this out again to stir the pot. I have a P90a that is NOT hydraulic. I did not do a lifter swap on it and I seriously doubt that the original owner of the car did the swap. The car was maintained by Nissan and the owner couldn't remember having any valvetrain work performed. Does anyone else have or seen one of these? And yes, I'm sure. Joe
  10. They fill up fast Mike. I built my garage in 2001 using the same footprint as you but my upstairs isn't as big (damn town ). Now I have 3 Z's, a Grand National and my motorcycle in there! To my wife's displeasure, the new cars stay outside. But hey, those two get replaced every three or four years anyway I think if I had made it bigger than the house I'd still run out of room. Joe
  11. Have you seen http://www.ultimategarage.com ? This guy lives about a half mile from me. You would never know what lurks behind the house!!
  12. Do like I do Rick, Leave the GN in the garage until the "itch" comes back! Seriously, are you using studs for the heads? They always gave me water problems. Went back to new head bolts and it cured it. I'm not running extremely high boost on the GN, max is 18, so the headbolts should be fine. Joe
  13. Thanks James, I'm really conservative compared to you!! I'm not going to advance that much but it's good to know that I have more room. How much boost were you pushing when this map was used? Turbo? Were you using the giant custom Spearco? Joe
  14. Yeah Craig, that's the one. Guess the wife was just rounding off! Joe
  15. Hey Joel, do you know what you used for a BSFC? I know your head is heavily modified so how did you come about your setting? Joe
  16. I tried this in the High Tech forum but realized it should have been here. Anyone running a TEC II on a l28 turbo motor willing to share ignition maps with me? Not that I'm having a problem but I just want to see if I'm on the right track. Just looking for a screen print. Also, what BSFC did u use when creating your bin? Thanks.
  17. C'mon guy's! I'm only looking for a screen print! Joe
  18. Yo2001, What is that wastegate actuator and mount off of? Joe
  19. Thanks everyone who replied. It looks like Nathan is going to pull through for me! Thanks!
  20. Got the wife to measure it. 3 inches center to center spacing on the compressor housing. Joe
  21. Yeah Lockjaw, I am using a .60 AR housing also. I'll measure the bolt spacing when I get home. Thanks! Joe
  22. For those running a T3/T40e hybrid, what are you using for a wastegate actuator? The one from the nissan T3 will not mount on my compressor housing. Thanks. Joe
  23. I'd agree with the crank being heavier since the throws are longer but I would disagree with the block being heavier since it's got much bigger holes in it.
  24. FI versus carbs is 100lbs different?! How can that be? What part of an L28 is causing it to weigh so much more? It can't be the intake manifold/fuel rail/injectors!
