  1. Actually I had not thought of that...thank you for bringing it up. I assume it is because of the overall height of the strut and the associated placement of the spring?
  2. Showcars has a horrible rep. Do a search on their name and see some responses. They also sell on eBay and have like a 50% rating at best.
  3. Yeh...the guy that made them...from scratch...with his hands...like the rest of the car...
  4. Hey Dan, I found by way of the search function, and a detailed description that you are running 265's under your Subtle Z fenders and have 10" coilovers. John at RR has said that you can only run up to 9.5" of width using his fenders and coilovers. I am perplexed. Granted I do not have my suspension on, but to me it looks like I could get 10.5 even 11" of rubber under there. I plan on running 8" coilovers so I will have some extra room. I also saw you have 4.5" Back Space in the rear but did not see a thread where you stated the back space/offset of the fronts. Can you offer some insight? Thanks! Rufus
  5. I see what you mean....was this in your gallery before I asked? I don't think the 10" would help, can't you adjust the perch up? It would raise your ride height but you could go wider.
  6. Ahhh....... The guilt is washing away.........
  7. I am getting ready to order almost the same exact parts. I thought the 8" springs gave you more room. Ross told me that the 8" springs put the perch above the tire. What rates did you go with? Do you think I could bug you for a pic? Thanks! Rufus
  8. Nice stuff!! Are you going to paint the stamped portion of the old control arm? They look brand new, maybe a clear coat? Looks great!! Rufus
  9. Do you know if they will come with the camber plates like the ones in your link? They are pretty sweet!!
  10. Extreme engine envy!!!! Beautiful Work!!!

  17. um........... I got nuthin to say.........
  18. Same here. I went to school for 3 and worked at the dealership for 6. Learned a bunch on the job. I was just checking out your web site. Nice Stuff!! Mike, So we are seeing the good jobs? There is another side?
  19. Very Cool!! WhenI went to school I worked at a ford dealer...no where near as cool. I bet it makes those short sleep hours worth it. I am sure it beats spending days on end doing ignition switch recalls!! Thanks for posting the pics!! Rufus
  20. Cool cars, is the shop you work at all custom installs, or is this skool?
  21. That color is you Mike!! Sweet car...You are right Chris, it has, or at least comes with all the right parts!!
  22. Terry, That is my intention. I am currently purchasing my suspension components. After which, I will put the car down, adjust the suspension and finish the lip from there. The reason I wanted to know the diameter of your rear wheel is so i can cut a templete circle (23.5") and see how much (approx) I will need to add later on. I am contemplating a couple of different options for the lip, and want the visual reference for my day-dreaming. RacerX, Thanks for the input!! Greatly appreciated!
