  2. There are a couple of possabilities. One is the addition of another u-joint in the shaft. I think that is what your friend is talking about. Another is a pair of block hugger headers. Do a search for block huggers here at Hybrid and I think you will find a couple of manufacturers that will work. Good luck!!

    r200 LSD?

    A better test is jack the rear end up and put it in neutral. Turn the driveshaft be hand. If both wheel turn in the same direction..LSD. If they turn in opposite directions, or if only one turns...no LSD!!! Rufus

  6. ???? ... even though there are mutiple pistons there is still only one bleeder per caliper. Have you checked the length of the pushrod? It is a strong possability that it needs to be adjusted outward to fully engage the master cylinder. I have not done the 15/16 upgrade but do you know if the pushrods are the same length?
  7. Every once in a while I just go to the classifiesds and hit "recent ads" that way you can see all the ads placed since the last time you looked.
  8. Vacum leak..thats what I said. The idea that it is caused bt a leaky airflow meter hose is a good idea and could be checked easily. Good ideas!!

  18. The shirts are super cool. Unfortunately my wife is capable of shrinking even non-shrink material. It took awhile but she managed to get it done!!!
  19. What you are describing is backlash. There has to be a little play between the ring and pinion so that the helicol gears dont constanly grind. I am not sure what the backlash is for your unit but I saw it in a recent thread. Its also possible that is is just worn and needs to be adjusted like you said with shims. It can be set easily but should probably be left to a shop that does it all the time. I get my new diff and CV axles tomorrow, did you get an LSD?
  20. I would check the timing and vacum leaks. If it all seems ok, see if you can scam a fuel pump fo a quick swap/check. I honestly dont know much about the L6 is it carbed or EFI? If it is EFI and the problem is somewat random it could be a sensor going wacko as well. Good luck I will check back later. Rufus
