  1. Thanks Guys. I have completed the drivers side and will post some pics when I get a chance. RacerX, I am not sure about the lip. I would like to mimic a modern squared off lip rather than the rounded common lip. I would love some suggestions in the form of pics. I plan on altering the 1/4's somewhat. I want the portion closest to the door to be slightly larger than the original. Matt, I was concerned about the car bowing when I cut out the 1/4's but I dont think it moved a bit. I will be installing a roll cage and strut braces so I am no too concerned about structural rigidity. Rufus

  3. Subtle Z fenders and air dam....with extra holes cut in it
  4. Funny....he says unless you have a feedback score of 98.5 or better do not bid......his rating is 97.5!!!! Nice ride though..

  6. Mike what is your estimate for total cost for the 5 lug conversion? I know I can look at the MM website and have. I am speaking in terms of any hidden associated costs. Thanks, Rufus

  8. May sound "father like" but here goes...You can do whatever you think is possible. Nothing can stop you but yourself. That said, when you get it done, share some pics...we would all love to see your work. Good Luck! Rufus

  10. BTW Dan I did not cut out the sections for the headlight syet because I may use a different type of light. The glass cuts / mills very easy with a angle grinder. I wanted to leave it alone until I decide what lights I will use. Suggestions? 8)
  11. Good point Dan, thank you for reminding me. I believe I mentioned it in a previous post but the parts I am using all came fom John Washington at Reaction Research. I have a fiberglass hood (plain not cowl induction) Subtle Z Fenders and Air Dam ZX Spyder Vents Upper portions of John's Vella Rossa Cheek panels and YZ rear quarters Owen, Liquid Aluminum is a type of 2 part filler goes on easy like regular body filler but you sand it before it completley cures. It has metal in it (somehow ) and dries to be superhard. I used it on my edges where I shaved my drip rails ans it worked great!!
  12. Thanks for the compliments guys. It is cool to share my work with those that appreciate it! I gotta say it feels good to get close to something I have been working at for awile now. Matt, Yup those are your buckets baby. The hinge has an adjustable stop which keeps the whole assembly from flipping over. That is as far forward I could get it without trimming the bottom of the air dam. It sits nice there though and does not want to fall closed so it is perfect!
  13. That car is Hippi-rific........ Dude its not right to hurt the earth with gas man...my car runs on love...
