  1. Hey Cyrus and Ulises, what part of SJ are you from? Is anyone here going to the J-town meet on Saturday? http://hybridz.org/nuke/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=36041
  2. Cool, gotta check that out. Too bad the subsribers always seem to get the magazines last
  3. Got it a week ago from Costco, only $299 thats a lot cheaper then Target. I used during our vacation and I was impressed with the quality of the video and sound. Much better then my old VHS-C, and it waaayyy smaller (about 2 inches shorter and lower). Heres a pic of my old one, quite a difference. Also for such an inexpensive mini DV, the fit and finish is excellent. Also the "nitepix"actually works very well, and its got a big zoom. The only thing I dont like is the lenscap. Its hard to get off and its easy to get fingerprints on the lens. All I need now is a firewire card (in the mail) because USB really sucks arse Its jumpy and theres no sound. BTW anyone interested in an older VHS-C camcorder? It works perfectly, $50 takes it
  4. Look at the first pic, its sitting on the sidewalk. Look at how big the plants are and theres some ivy and a potted plant.
  5. I remember seeing black chrome on a watch and it looked badass. I think there was also an article on how to do it in Sport Compact Car, but I cant find the article. Do you guys have any ideas on how to achieve this look? Maybe some kind of black tinted clearcoat? I am going for a no bling look, with minimal chrome so I think the stainless around the windows and taillights would look nice with it. Any ideas would be appreciated (it would be better if it came in a rattlecan) BTW I did do a search
  6. That sucks. Was it something like this? (warning: slightly graphic) http://www.video-clips.co.uk/clip.php?cid=17
  7. Awwww, the link doesnt work I remeber in 9th grade we used to play Ghost Recon online during class with the laptops the school gave us to take home (that didnt last too long ) I would own everyone... We didnt learn a damn thing that year, but it was fun
  8. I was looking at mine, it has wires and vaccum lines going into it
  9. Are they the "snowflake" wheels? If so, I have 215/60's on mine and they already seem to bulge about 3/4 of an inch from the outside of the rim.
  10. I agree that about the Azenis tires, we put them on my dad's old 280z 2+2 and even with a shot shocks it turned out some competitive times (and thats with 2 passengers)
  11. Finally, we changed the oil fixed the plug wires a voila!! On the 1st crank it ran!! Its been over a year since we started the mechanical on the Z, with lots of ups and downs but it is finally over (mostly). It ran great (A little rich because of the turbo injectors) and it sounded awesome. The only thing is we're going to have to pull off the main cover to replace the gasket because the one MSA sent is faulty (the cover is tight but it seeps coolant). Thats ok though, it'll only take a day to take off the rad, oil pump ect. The thing that fixed it was that it was 2 teeth off of top dead center, and that my old injectors were seized. Now all I need to do is get some more brake fluid, finish getting the parts for the windshield wipers, and tap a lug. WHHOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!
  12. wow looks great. Your running the car without anything after the downpipe? Must be nice ot live in Texas
  13. Right now my car sits waaaaayy too low, its only got 3 1/2 inches of ground clearance under the front cross member (with no one in it) Fortunately it has 250lbs springs and coilovers
  14. Awesome, although the CHP is testing 300c's and the Magnum (both hemi powered) as possible patrol cars (although from what Ive heard, the 300c doesnt hold up too well against the testing)
  15. Auxilary is the guy doing the swap
  16. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7915077921&category=33733 The seller claims it will fit a L6 motor "but it is must to do change front end each of original end". What is he talking about? BTW If it does fit, how much stronger would it be compared to a 280zx or 280z 5 speed? (I did use the search) edit:I also saw this LSD on ebay, what do you think? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7914777754&category=33731
  17. I got the grades up so Im going to get my permit before the summer is over. I dont want to see what they'll charge for insurance though
  18. Im finally 16, although I dont have a liscense or a permit yet (I really screwed up my grades earlier this year). I had an early present when I went to pick up my new camber adjusters from Mike from KS Plastics, nice guy and I got a great deal on them, $140 for the front and back. Anyways im finally 16, plus the Z might actually start today, cant wait
  19. Or maybe on of those shotgun traps would be even better. You know, the kind where you get a mouse trap drill a hole in the wood and stick a shotgun shell in it so the metal hits it. Then a little trip wire and you have a pretty effective solicitor deterrence system
  20. Im sure somebody could get a great deal on this flywheel. Its one of those fidanza type aluminum flywheels and the guy who's selling it isnt a car guy so he doesnt really know what he has. I saw another flywheel like it for sale on ebay for $300. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7914425542&category=33732
  21. Look here http://www.modern-motorsports.com Next time do a search (dont use the one at the top of the page)
  22. No, it was posted here. The one with the song "magic carpet ride" in the background.
