at least they did the right thing, too bad it was a little too late to really save face in the situation i hope the owners of this establishment enjoy their new careers..... so what do you guys think? he put it on ebay thinking the bidding would go into orbit, and when it didn't he found the quickest way to bail?

sure, obviously there exists legimate traffic crime, the guy who is creating a true public safety concern. but court overtime numbering in the thousands of dollars is in my opinion an incentive program that promotes frivolous prosecution. and i thought ticket quotas were what made the cops in my area a little overzealous.hell, my wife got pulled over for fixing her hair because a nys trooper thought she was talking on a cellphone........ it just really seems like they look for a reason, and if i could damn near double my income by getting my name on as many court dates as possible, i'd be all over it.

i had an 87 jetta, and even with the 8v that car was a little snappy. handled great, too. how did it die? on jackstands but anyway, that car's gotta be wicked. if there was anything my car lacked, it was power below 3000 rpm. that thing with a northstar? ooooo...

mike... i have the ultimate solution.... blue and green plaid :malebitchslap: ???????? honestly, i think the green would look great. as for the other parts you wanted to do in red, are you a fan of yellow? i can't say i am, but the two colors do play nice together. just a suggestion..... but i'm dealing with the same color dilemma, only i have much more time to hinge back and forth before it's time to do mine.

there are a couple of places to go for adapters, juan from jskinnovations will be making up some soon. also, check out http://www.wheeladapters.com .... they do basically full-custom adapters to your bolt pattern and backspacing specs.

phyte... you just bought a car and only posted one pic? bad phyte!!!! kind of looks like he put back on the original 260 carbs, a cardinal sin that any z-owner should be shot for. if these are indeed the crappy emissions-optimized 74 carbs the first thing you need to do is use them for what they're worth.... and it's not for feeding an engine!!!! alot of people put early 240 carbs on and feel like they bought a new car. i had the same problems with my 74 carbs, bought a set of early su's, and subsequently changed my mind twice on the engine i was using. so.... i still have the carbs if this turns out to be the case and you're interested. i could use a little extra project money. hope that helps.... and congrats on the new car. at least a part of your life will never be the same........bob

if it weren't for the jedi-like technical knowledge, the pictures of z-cars that make my shorts sticky, and auxillary and his ability to find the most ridiculous s&!t on the internet, i'd still tune in to hybridz every day just to see WHAT JUAN'S FRIGGIN' NAME IS TODAY!!!!! if i didn't just change mine i'd be forced to call him schizo, but that'd just make me a hypocrite.
