ya got it backwards. the first number, the 3-digit one, relates to the width, think tread. the second, the 50 i was referring to, is your profile, or sidewall height, the distance between rim and tread, the third is the size of your rim. hope that helps!!!!

the 185's might be a little tight. you can lower the profile and get rid of that tall look without going to a narrower tire. in fact, a 205/50 on the rims you have would look mean, and the width itself would get rid of some of the appearance of height.

i've wanted to skydive for a long time... but i say that now that i'm actually on the ground!!! rt. 28 is not only impossible to not speed on, but loaded with cops. i avoid it at all costs anymore. you should let me know the next time you're coming up. if it isn't right away i could show off my car and it might actually look like something!!!

glad to hear your car's ok!!!! i've never come close to something like that myself, but on an empty country road late at night, my old 78 280 almost met a deer during a high-speed run. thank god z-cars handle, since 85mph z on deer would not have been pretty.

you know.... we need to modify our selection criteria.... it is the onset of winter and alot of people wont be driving their cars.... we can't just start letting in people whose cars aren't fully disabled, or next thing you know we'll be getting stupid question after stupid question, people who join the club for no other reason than to sell something and leave, and people will bitch at mike for having an l6 and at me for my v8..... i can just see where this is going and damnit i don't like it :malebitchslap:
