    Looks great! When can we race? LS2 vs LS2. That would be a blast. It's interesting how our Dyno numbers differ. I guess all these machines are just approximate and depend on DA like everything else. IIRC, mine made 400hp at like 5600 and 435 tq at 4150. It would be fun to see how that worked out at the track. Let's do the Arkansas Mile next June or try to make the ZCON 2017. Maybe my POS won't be broken.

    I remember when all the "crap" was made in Japan. I expect China's manufacturing history to follow the same pattern. And eventually they will all go the way of the US, specifically Detroit. It seems to be the natural cycle. Ever read about the era when Greece was a super power? The Greeks probably said: "Don't buy any of that Roman crap."

    It's back in the shop. Time to clean up and paint all the fab work assoc with the chute. Of course the humidity is like 100%! Maybe that is why it is raining buckets. Gotta straighten up shop too. Got new air compressor and dryer in place to start chipping away at mock up.

    Love it! 1.42 60' even with all that spin. "Ran out of gear.." At 106mph with a 3.55 and 28" slicks... 3rd gear? We gotta get you a faceplated tranny. You deserve it.

    You know as well or better than me, but is your suspension bottoming out some? Would some bump stops promote component longevity? Those are hard dips on those courses! I sure don't have the balls for that. I still fly off into the grass with regularity.

    Picking up car tomorrow. I'm satisfied with the work. Some of it is pure genius, some, not so good. Fab guy says the welding I'm not happy with was due to limited access, tight spots to weld when upside down and dirty metal that could not be reached with a grinder to clean/prep. On the whole it looks great, and I think it will be fine. Pics after I get it home and in the lift.

    "Plastic" means easily distorted or pliable. It's an engineering term. It means "squishy."
