  1. yeah it was funny in last year C&D shootout they said after all the tuner cars finished they did all the tests with a stock zo6 vette and it beat every car on every test.

  3. it could be easyer ir harder in cases, im not framiliar with those trucks ignition setup. go to http://msefi.com/ im sure this quesiton has been asked.
  4. if you're running a stock turbo, that cant be right, under load i can get full boost about 1000rpm lower than you. possibly tweak your VE tables, because now you are running colder and then more dense air possibaly? so you might be running leaner than before. i dont know this is just a shot in the dark
  5. the sad thing is that on Horsepower TV, when the guys were modding a civic they used this type of intake. it took them about 4 or five weeks to finish the car and the damn thing made less then 20 hp more after all their mods except for the NAWSSSS.
  6. i remember my machine shop teacher telling me that a helicoil in steel is stronger than the original steel. i think i have my bolts set to about 75 ft. lbs.
  7. its all areodynamics that are making the cars look like crap these days. these guys make their caRRRRRR look like junk to get two more mikes to the gallon. z31's can look downright badass. same with turbo zx's
  8. have you seen the vid of a vette with nitrous catch fire all because it backfired out the intake, which blew the intake mani apart. although he might have used a wet system and that might have been why it caught fire

  12. somthing like that happened to me i went to a PNP and i was getting a dizzy and so was a guy infront of me and the guys said it will be like 35 or somthing and get this it was HALF OFF DAY! i dropped the dizzy and got out of there. then i went to a pull your part a little while away and they only had 15% off that day and for a dizzy and some hose they charged me 30 bucks. i really think all the price matters on the mood of the teller.

  16. well right now im taking a crap and writing this on a lovely IBM. IMO they are the ONLY brand that should be concidered when looking for laptops. i have a T23, which i got on ebay for about 450 with a one year warente. you can get a earlier version for 300 if you look around. rugged, good looks, does all i need.
  17. agreed. i have a 3" dp so mabye im having like 2 or so psi of loss. i completly agree that this is not the IC to get for an extreme performance build, but it works for me and thats all im saying, i also like the fact that it has both ports on the same side. didnt mean to ruffle your feathers.
  18. ok so i guess running stock wastegate/boost on my turbo and seeing 7psi on my autometer doesnt mean anything to you, but it does to me.

  22. if the fan is small enough diameter you can drop the fan to the bottom of the rad and have tons of room to work with. i have a 14" or so fan and theres a lot of room up there.
  23. that car will look downright mean. love the color choise.
