imo they tried to put too much on the car, but it does look older. the back looks pinched off. i like a cut off look like z's or many older muscle cars have.

i have an old fiberglass slide and the paint thats on it now is turning chalkie. it comes off on your hands and on your butt. i was thinking this would be a very good thing on which to practice my non existent painting skills. do they sell paints that are made for this purpose, or can i use a car or other type paint. give me some help out here, i think this would be a neat project.

you can mess with intake/exhaust cam timing spepretly with DOHC. wheras you cant adjust indivudally with SOHC.

get a p.o. box in a county that doesnt smog, then change your cars address to that p.o. box. some people here do that and i might have to do that too.

the diesel maxmias have just that, a oil pump shaft with the dizzy side of it removed.

the turbo autos came with an air-oil oil cooler. that would use the top bolt only. if you feel saucy you can use a diesel maxima water-oil oil cooler. that cooler would use all four of the bolts on the block

i got a tarus fan to fit, but i SERIOUSLY hacked the crap out of it. now im running mid 90's mercedes c class fans. they pull 10 amps each and yuo can fit 2 on a rad. they were ment to be pushers but the blades are such that they can still pull pretty well. i am pretty lucky with cooling and i only have 1 of these fans on right now and it keeps my car cool, although it hasnt gotten over 85 yet here.

why not throw down a couple bucks and get a aftermarket fuel rail. i have one and i never get vaporlocking problems. you can use the stock fpr. sorry i cant help you about the airflow.

no you need a nissan flange that not being made. kinda sucks. its a four bolt pattern with the bolts offset a little. i have a firend at a machine shop so thats how i got mine.

i have my 3" exhaust dumping right before the diff. it's a moroso spiral flow muffler. it sounds nice(possibly a little loud). i made a complete exhaust exiting in the stock place and with the same muffler the car was quieter than my very quiet NAsetup was. also i couldnt hear the turbo spool up as well, probably had more backpressure too. also my exhaust pops ALOT. sometimes it pretty much backfires, could be somwhat because of my AFR, but i think it has somthing to do with the shortness of the exhaust.

excelent post!!. i think you should invest in a 3" mandrel bent exhaust, IMHO thats where oyur restriction lies. my 3" exhust just dumps near the differential. at 8psi with a Gtech i got 200hp. not as accurate as a dyno but it might show somthing
