  1. Hey Gabe, Glad you got her running reliably. Did you thermocoat your exhaust manifold? Oh and if I have too I'll lend you my god-like tuning skills friday night if you want. Seriously when it comes to tuning megasquirts I'm better than average. Just FYI.
  2. Looking good Gabe. Now you can can't complain but i'm only on a stock turbo... Can't wait to see it at DNI.
  3. You could always run a new relay real quick for it. Find the ground wire coming from the ecu (wiring diagram) and wire up a relay from the bat. Bypassing all the stock crap. Might save you lots of time and money.

  5. Does the car start if you push the pedal all the way down. If you have your tps calibrated it will cut all fuel. Also how does your tach look, injectors timing, and map look through megatune? It could also be a stuck injector. Pull them real quick and see the spray patterns. Make sure its not something mechanical before you start messing with your settings. My money is something is not hooked up right or injectors stuck. Good luck. 832-444-4540 Ted

  7. Nope afr's adjust fuel as well as timing. If you look at your injector opening time and then warm up your iat it will decrease. And vice versa getting it cold. Prox, I did a quick search about a month or so ago and didn't find anything as well. So can't be much help there. Sorry.
  8. You need it after the intercooler so I would say the first bend on the passenger side. I have same problem right now with my car being n/a I will be lean if I sit at a light for awhile then drive it but once I move alittle bit and my IAT's come down then the a/f are perfect. I believe you can adjust it. Its in the code though.
  9. LOL yeah the zx 5-spds never lasted more than a month. Then again I think it might have been the royal purple I was running. I think i'll stick to redline mtl or stock tranny fluid.
  10. I ran 300whrp+ (many drag launchs) through a 4 spd for about a couple weeks with out any problems. Then switched back to a zx 5-spd.

  12. Yepo as TimZ said its your air temps. You might need to move the air temp sender out from behind the radiator. Or if you can adjust the air temp % table that would be even better. Can you do this in megasquirt?

    Autocrossers?

    I haven't autocrossed my Z's yet but did a miata for 2 years in csp class and it was the most fun i've ever had behind a wheel. Blows away back roads driving, drag racing, or anything else i've done in a car. Well almost everything:icon54: I wasn't even that competitive since my car wasn't a full blown csp miata but it was still fun as heck. Can't wait untill Z is ready for it. Still need some suspension and brake work before its safe.
  16. Nope never dynoed. Me personally not a fan of dyno. I've modded atleast 10+ cars and only dynoed 2 of them. One was for fun and the other to get it tuned. 1/4 is where you find out if you built a fast car or just a powerful car. I'd rather have a fast one. Also as the saying goes if you aren't breaking anything your not going fast enough. But to each his own. Nice Z yours is definetly nicer looking and most likely more powerful.
  17. Stock Block, non-meth I ran 23lbs of boost. With the borrowing of Warren's drag radials (thanks warren) I got my car down the 1/4 11.69@122 Unfortunately warrens drag radials were shorter than my street tires so I was hitting the revlimit (6400rpms) the last 100ft or so with a taller tire I could have gotten atleast 11.5 maybe 11.4 since it would have put me in my power band more.
  18. Also the l26 cam is externally oiled vs the internally oiled p90 cam. So you need to swap over the cam towers and oilers. But yeah not worth it.

The most boost I got out of my holset was 23psi so you now have the most boosted holset l28. Get her to the track and beat my record. DNI is just around the corner and i'm heading. Also how long does your meth last before refill?
  20. I actually got to look at his engine bay this weekend in person. The pics don't do it justice. Can't wait untill DNI to see and hear this thing run. BTW because of your higher comp ratio than my other car I was telling you about, you will easily get your power goal on the stock t3.
  21. In my early looking days I test drove a very nice m45 against a 3.2tl and liked the m45 for its looks but the overall driver feel it was 3.2tl. Then again the tl was an manual. But I was really tempted on m45. Good buy.
