I didnt have any idea where to put this and when i searched i came up with over 4000 matches so i figured it was time to ask. I'm looking at options for seats to put in my z. Ive decided to go for a racing style seat to accomodate the 5 point harnesses i pln to install. The question i have is what are my options? I love sparco seats but they are a lil pricey, corbeau stuff is similar but with thte huge price difference in between sparco and corbeau im led to believe that the corbeau seats might not be all that hot. id really like to stay under 500 for both seats(is this unreasonable??) shoot me some hints or any informationg you guys have. Also, does anybody have blue prints for cages? im looking to get a quote on a cage from a local builder but i have nothing to give him that will really give him an idea of what i want. I want something similar to a BRE cage. i would like to have as much protection as possible, if anyone has seen the cage in daruis' (http://www.darius240z.com) this is almost exactly what i am looking for. Also, what other precautions should i take? this car is going to be a jack of all trades. It will mostly be used for drifting but it will definately see alot of autocrossing and drag racing(or supplemental income as i like to call it). Any direction would really be appreciated. thx Roman

i was gonna ask the same thing, why not drive the zx? In all fairness i dont plan to have a/c in my z either, but im gonna regret it and i know it. If your gonna ditch the a/c think it through carefully.

yeah, you are definately gonna die without ac, and think of how much heat the engine produces, your definately gonna feel that throuhg the firewall(a little), your gonna fry without A/C

how did you come up with boxy?? although it may not be to aerodynamically sound compared to other cars. the s30 has smooth ferrari like edges. In direct conmparison to the 300zx(the model you showed), the s30 jis definately NOT the brick a 300zx apears to be visually. Just IMHO
