looks interesting but i think if you can wrap it around like the 240 bumpers and keep the Fat look it will look allot better looks a little unfinished as is interesting take tho

ive tried unpluging the O2 many times it changes nothing i unplug the CHTS and it dies are you sure the water temp goes to the ecu? how far back should i mount the O2 sensor i think i have mine a little close but i think the stock one is right off the turbo right at the bend ill have to double check and maybe mount it futher away from the turbo

how far away should the O2 be mounted? i have it about 4 or 5 inches away from the turbo should i put it further down the downpipe?

did you do the CHTS and water temp sensor fixing at the same time? from what i have been reading the ZXT doesnt use water temp for fuel managment one wire for the gauge and one for the injector cooling fan

maybe my O2 is fouled my chts works the water temp sensor isnt for the ecu from what i have read i think the O2 is the problem

it warms up and idles fine its just when i try to rev it and put a load on it it will get rich and stall out and die. i was doing some searching on here last night and it seams like the O2 should be my prob since the water temp sensor doesnt do anything for the ZXT fuel system

thnks mario. ill start with the O2 and get the water after or figure out the oms on it. there are 2 water temps one for the gauge and one for the com what one is for the car? the one with the wire or the one with the connection comming right ut of it?

ahhh so maybe its my O2 sensor giving me the problem. does the water temp sensor control anything to do with fuel? I shall get a new O2 sensor and go from there. Ive heard of some guys say there car runs better without the O2 conected how is that so? maybe they dont have the stock ECU... maybe thats why i never got a "new" new one i replaced it a lonf time ago but may have damaged it... thnks mario

im prob going to go mega squirt but right now i dont have the funds and i want to stop driving my stupid ranger haha the only good thing is my bike will be on the road at the end of the month but i need a car and ive worked on this thing so much grrr if it ever runs it will be fun with all the mods but intill then its not so fun

ok ive been trying to tune this thing for a long time... way to long heres what i know what works for sure Head temp sensor because when i unplug it it stalls out AFM because when i move it around it makes changes i dont think these work water temp sensor and TPS If i tighten the AFM wheel one full rotation it will idle right and rev smooth BUT the spring is so tight the AFM flap will close and it will not start thats the only way i can get it to run so i can move it around but when its under load it still dies i guess its on "limp" mode since its not reading the TPS and maybe water temp sensor im trying to figure out where my TPS wires go and if the water temp has anything to do with fuel delivery. and my O2 might not be working either but ive read some guys unhook that anyways... and it runs better the set up is an 81 turbo with no EGR or vacume pump. ive tried so many things to try and tune it with just the AFM but its not working ofcourse and im just wasting my time ive put new clips on the injectors, cold start valve' and Cylinder head temp loosing his mind: matt

ive been going through my electical again on my 81 turbo swap into my 78Z and im finding that the TPS only has 2 wires from the ECU. ive swapped my TPS with a N/A unit and it has 3 Wires comming off is the Turbo TPS diff or does it just have 1 less hookup? Im not sure where my stock one is but i have 2 N/A TPS's im sure they re made the same. im just wondering if anyone knows what order i put the 2 wires

unused is exactly what it has been so i guess that clears up that hmmm thanks guys

im about to take my harrness off agian and really go through it and make sure everything is good for sure. ive never had it run that great but everything has worked at one point thats why im loking at it all again anyways what is this? ive never had it hooked up to anything and it comes out beside my ecu plugs i have a 81 turbo harrness and ECU cheers Matt

i tihnk i can put everything together its just a solder iron and some anti static stuff grounded table and wrist straps and all that jazz i want to to the taurus trigger wheel. looks like a good idea

whats a pyrometer? is that the exaust temp? i was planning on one of those anyways? is the autometer one good or should i get another brand to work with the MS

well i kinda need a Wide band or it will be tuff to tune right? the wide band was like 200 i think i guess i could get it close without a wide band but i want it done right and see whats really going on i guess i could loose the relay board but it seams to make everything come together easier

im looking to buy mega squirt and was just wondering if this is right i priced everything out on DIY and it came to around $750 or so. id like to run edis since i have the 81 turbo with the CAS on the crank. other than that i just want the baics i priced it all out as assembled parts and thats the way i want to buy it dont think im good enuf to build it but i might still go that way if its not to hard... so whats the bare bones way to do a mega squirt with edis and wide band. guess its not to bare bones now haha (not including the edis parts) thanks matt

the first gen ps2 has a spot in the back for expansion "the big brick ones" but the Xbox would better if you can put windows on it and stuff 80 gigs would be allot of music 2 hehe im going to look for a cheep x-box now and a LCD would make for a nice project and would prob be my music system first then get the squirt on it AND play games when im waiting for my gf to get off work haha i dont know why i didnt think of X-box my buddy has a modded one and it amazing does the x-box have the dick slide out or a flip up? i forget

these things are so cheap now all u need is a $100 lcd screen and ur in biz does anyone think it would work? i know nothing about writing code and what not but thinking of putting a MS together and thought it might be a cool way to do it Matt
