anyone have a turbo dizzy they want to donate to my black knight. i have the 81 style chopper wheel and i dont think its very cool haha and if you have a megasquirt kickin around that would be nice just puttin it out there matt

oh and is there a 5speedi can mate to this engine? im not a big fan of auto

for sure something like this needs a good plan. Im even thinking of cutting the firewall to set the weight of that monster motor back a bit. the Z i have is just a shell and it is ready for a full custom job. Just waiting if i can use this truck that has been sitting in my dads yard for months. "it was his friends that passed away" how much would i need to set back the engine to make the weight 50/50 or close to stock? i wonder what kinda of monster turbo would work good with this motor also hehe it will be one bad hot rod for sure id love to to the wide body like you blueoval by the way your car rocks! love what you did matt

i have a old ford truck with a 460 in it and i have a 78 shell was wondering if that big bad boy engine will fit in between those shock towers if so that would be a cool cruisin car...the weight diss miht be a little messed up but a fun ride none the less matt

i put my shocks in the front and everything looked cool but when i opened up the next 2 shocks for the back i found that they were a few inchs shorter with a metal tube spacer to make up for the lost length. so i guess im asking what is for the front? the full size tube "the ones that are already in the front" or the short tubes with the spacers? "the ones that are in the back now" did a search didnt see anything thanks Matt

so you have to use those lame wideband boxes or can i use my autometer unit ?

kool thanks for the reply moby. ill just hook it up for looks i guess the GF will love it haha cant you use the WB02 with an autometer gauge or do u needthose cheesy light boxes? those are not very slick units

using the stock O2 sensor how far off is the stoich reading? Im thinking its better than nothing for tuning and its all i got just wanted to get into a ballpark range thanks

i got the tank cleaned out. it turned out there is a filter in the tank and there is no way of replacing it unless u cut it out. costed me $200 to have it all cleanedout and coated now everything works great look for "leakers gas tank renu"in your area the guy did a great job googel it and the light will be shown

i went ahead and got the right ones. turns out they were only like 6 bucks more not 3 times as much. the guy at my parts store must have been drunk

thats what i was thinking, i dont see why it would be $20 more per hose. thanks for chiming in. the only reason im doing stock lines is because russels lines we back ordered or some garbage. i waited a month and a half just to start my brakes... grrr

im replacing the brake hoses on my 280z and the front ones are $10 a peice and the back ones are $30 but they look the same... the only thing is the back ones are about an inch longer. can i put the front ones on the back and save a few bucks or is there a reason for the price diff?

looks great. id go for the track pack wheels or the G35 wheels but those look great to. almost makes me want to go 5 bolt. how is the front going to fit? is it all going to clear?

the shell is going to be my pefect car. my current car is like a test car. when i get my shell all perfect and pretty all the good parts will go in it and ill prob turn my other one into a all out race/drift car so i guess itsnot for sale unless the price was right ofcourse hehe

yup it does it when its warm ive moved the TPS around befor so i think thats a great start to adjust that and i saw something on getting the AFM set up. i just gotta tweak it all up. cant work on it till next week ill keep you guys posted

haha "almost dies" cant edit the headline. got everything back together and it all works. the only thing that my car does that seems odd is after i get off the gas and the RPMs go back down to idle it drops lower than idle almost to stall then go back to idle. takes about a sec and doesnt die but it doesnt seem right. any thoughts? as soon as my braided brake lines come in i can drive this bad girl yeah!!!

there is a primer u can weld on i forget the name tho

ok got my tank refinished and now putting it all back together. i was putting the injectors back on. one of them the hose twists on the housing will this leak when i put pressure to it?? i have some N/A injector that should be ok still. anyone experienced this? excited 2 have my car running dont need anymore problems haha
