  1. Sent you my file for a stock rb26 with stock turbos at 10 PSI, stock gtr intercooler, 444 cc injectors (stock). these setting made 350 rwhp let me know if you get it.
  2. Obviously though out of the car would be much better. Its a little harder to see and ensure the gear is where its supposed to be as you tap it in.
  3. I did it inthe car. its relatively easy to do just make sure you drill all the way thru the old one. It is longer then the replacement, and dont follow the instructions for the z32. Ihe rb motor is 180 degrees different.

  7. I have a FX35 which has i believe a VQ35? its AWD and i have gotten under and looked at it. Even put a tape measure to it and to me it looks like it would not even fit between the frame rails of a Z. not for sure though
  8. The first 3 pics are how it looks right now with all bumpers installed and paint flat black.
  9. I 1977 280z for sale that is the best stock un-restored 280z i have ever seen body wise. Original silver color. Virtually no rust with only a few pin holes under the battery and the right front fender has a hole in it. I peeled back the fender and inspected the rocker. There is not rust there. The dash is cracked as usual and both seat need recovered. Other then that there is nothing wrong with the car everything actually works with the exception of the clock and A/C, I think the AC system is plugged somewhere as it wont take a charge. the compressor was replaced with a known good one and it didn't fix the problem. I have a new carpet kit and headliner for it, aftermarket sway bars, and a set of bolt on over fenders i planned on putting on if i ever got wheels and tires that needed them. It has aftermarket strut and lowering springs installed. It has a slight exhaust leak from the header gasket. i was going to replace the header and install the brand new exhaust (MSA ?) i have in a box. I'm not really wanting to sell cause like i said it is the best one i have ever found in stock condition. but money talks and i will let it go for 5K and probably regret it next year ;>. I have driven as a daily driver now for almost a year and have only put gas in it and changed the oil every 3K. if someone in cali wanted it, i would have no problem jumping in it today and driving 500 miles, that's how confident i am in the running condition. It gets 25mpg cruising 75MPH on the highway!!!
  10. Nothing is plug_and_play. Most people I have seen (including me) have used all aftermarket gages including tach and speedo. I think there have been a few to get the stock tach to work with the rb motor. I originally used SDSEFI and the engine harness for the rb26 was modified. The stock L engine harness was completely removed. The link you posted should be all you need.

  12. Drag racing? I had a 4:88 in mine once. Damn near ripped the entire rear suspension out of the car ;> I could only do 130mph at the top end of 5th. Agree with Joel... 4:11 especially if your running the RB25 tranny.
  13. I was torn between that solution to but in the end what you have is a spliced 20 year old harness. I also had a few issues with my harness that Yuri walked thru with me over the phone. I eventually found out i just misunderstood how to shoot thru the ignitor. Im sure if you had an issue with your harness and called yuri at wiringS he would have been more then happy to resolve what ever problem you had.

  15. Hmmm I wonder if they are referring to the settings for the solenoid. If the AEM is anything like the HKS boost controller you have %s you can set at. The higher you go the higher your boost. dosnt really matter what you spring in the wastegate is (i think) I have a 8lb sping in my 60mm WG and it boosts 8psi when the controller was turned off. When on we were able to tune to 30 PSI with no issues, and i wasnt even past 50% yet. My guess would be the turbo would max out before the solenoids ability to control boost was lost.

All the interior pics are current. I have a full carpet kit and headliner for the car along with larger sway bars. I did not get them installed yet as its too cold out not to do anything.
  17. I used the AEM series 2 with a wireing harness from wireingspecialties.com. it fit perfect adn started right up. they have a link in the vendors forum.
  18. When you say "will probably only be able to boost 18sh" are you saying that because you don't want to do anymore because of too much power or you will physically not be able to boost anymore then 18?
  19. Look into a hks triple. my buddy is running one in his GTR with no issues at close to 1000hp.
  20. Whats wrong with it? I had the HKS twin, Pro i think it was called, It worked great. rear end didn't like it though ;>

  23. Lack of brake and clutch master cylinder makes the difference. Especially on the hot side.
  24. I can see where your coming from... even though i did say road course i have no real knowledge of it. I was more referring to drag racing.
