these say they at for 2 OD wonder if heat and freezing would get them over a 2.16 OD strut :>

So the struts I have are 55mm OD (2.165 in OD) the collars i found on Coleman racing are 2.08 ID. I'm guessing that if i froze the strut housing and heated the aluminum collar... it would slip right on?
I'm redoing some struts i have for the drag car. Everything i have on the current struts will swap over. All i need is the threaded stuff you slip over the tube. Anybody know where i can get this stuff? I don't need the entire coilover swap just the threaded sleeve.
More boring pics...
Got the dash all wired up all the gages work. speedo has a burnt bulb ;<
Also got the line lock, Trans brake, and neutral safety switch all wired up and ops checked!!!!
Car is coming along nicely. Got motivated and actually cleaned up the interior and installed the dash. Put the battery in and after the garage was heated up to around 75 degrees the car started right up!!!
Got my new flexplate in today and installed it.
Trans in
Had to put this belt in before I put the center tunnel in.
Center tunnel in
Shifter in.
I’m going to try and get the dash in tomorrow. Also need to finish installing torque converter bolts. Then do A LOT of cleanup before final wiring.
Sat down, well laid down in the car and got just about everything wired up. Just need to do the nitrous circuit and the chassis harness.
Also got in all my certified tranny shields. Only thing left is my flez plate and its in the mail ;>
Its mounted in the passenger kick area where the stock fuse block used to be. It replaces all the wiring. the block with 4 fuses is for the engine harness and the bigger one is for the rest of the chassis, lights and everything.
Well i finally completed something i have been putting off forever. Wiring. its not all done BUT all i really have to do is run wires (14 to be exact) and clean up the engine harness under the dash and its done.
This is the first time time i have ever attempted something like this. Probably wont do it again either. VERY TIME CONSUMING!!!
Not really. Damper is installed and I dropped the tranny off to get freshened up and fix a leak. Hoping to have it back next week then its on like donkey konG!!!!
Oh wait i did install the nitrous fogger in a different location with a bung and a new intake pipe vs the hokie fitting that came with the kit.
I used -12 on mine. -10 or even -8 would have been plenty.
All i did was drill and tap the existing holes in the valve cover. welding a bung in is the other way to do it.
