  1. you can put the mechanical speedo cog from a ZX trans and it will work with the original speedo cable. Electrical speedos are much more accurate though because it runs off pulses not just off the cog you have in the transmission.
  2. yes you can, weve done it no every swap so far.
  3. It has been done with an rb26 engine in a 300zx by at least 2 members on this board i believe. Search around in the RB section of the forum: http://forums.hybridz.org/forumdisplay.php?f=85
  4. Brian, be sure to look around on ebay, there is a bellmouth style one which has a larger openeing than the tomei one. The only problem with the divided one is that the actual turbo pipe is pretty small to get the most flow.
  5. i dont see why you wouldnt be able to run that, we are running 225s on our 9.5" wide on the back (nicely stretched)
  6. Which is exactly what we do... There is no point with starting with an already complete exhaust if you have to chop it up and change the angles to make it fit.
  7. i dont see that being a listing for an S30 chassis, if you read my post above i asked if it was for an s30 not for a S13, s14, s15 chassis.
  8. you can see rust through the holes in pistons 1 and 2
  9. You have a Trust 3" Complete exhaust for the S30 chassis? I would really like to see it please. No one is calling you an idiot so dont get too ahead of yourself.
  10. like i said, we use the Stock No: 7173 which is the R5672A-8 plug. I have used these plugs in 200whp SR20s all the way to our sr20 powered car which is making 508whp.
  11. There is no trust exhaust system for our cars in 3" piping. S15 blacktop motors are not exactly cheap nor are they really worth it if you are upgrading cams and turbo anyway. Ill take a built s13 redtop over an s15 blacktop anyday.
  12. If you are going to be just checking plugs here and there im sure the Greddy plugs arent cheap so i would try the NGK 7173 (About $2 a plug) that i talked earlier.
  13. hes already making that much power, why would he sell his current Z which might be smog exempt in his state to get a car that has to be imported and pay about $20k just for the stock car itself not including new modifications.
  14. might want to check the guys over at http://www.jlbmotorsports.com Talk to Dustin
  15. they include a set of seat brackets and sliders to use with their seats. They are side mount seats kind of like sparco, bride and recaro too. They are a very good deal.
  16. Hey matt, hold me a 3.70 R200 CLSD. When you come by the shop do you think you can bring it by so i can check it out??? Let me know.
  17. these are 3.70 CLSD as long as they arent from the SS White Shiro models where those are VLSD. I would be interested in a diff depending on the price of it. Im also in socal, Mission Viejo. Let me know your price and ill let you know if im still interested.
  18. The turbo 240z i just bought has the Type II seat in the driver side. It fits and feels great but im going to be selling it to get the Type III's since i lost some weight...
  19. thats great to know, shipping isnt even that expensive on tires either.
  20. the 3.70 comes in the 300zx turbo 87-89 (with LSD) and i think all the other years turbo will come without LSD and then you can buy an aftermarket LSD for it. Someone correct me if im wrong...
  21. i wouldnt recommend getting a 4.375 or a 4.11 with the 6spd. The s15 i believe came with a 3.54 or 3.73 rear end so i would say to get an r200 3.70 LSD rear end to match up with the 6psd trans,
  22. stock sr20s with bolt-ons and 15psi will make 250whp give or take a few whp.
