  1. HAH, not it is my second love though, DBZ, and that is Gotenks, SSJ3. I do have others though.
  2. I myself have never read a more informative post on something such as this, I have learned a lot just form that one post, and I think that this should be kept alive to understand more about the Z characteristics of aerodynamics. Fantastic post!
  3. I wonder if he will sell it or keep it?
  4. I agree I miss the real speed channel, all it is now, at least to me is the Nacar channel.
  5. Good to hear as I was just reading this and thinking damn, this is to hard to swallow and not good for anyone at all. Im glad to hear that the problem your having is getting better and that its not going to be anything serious. Even though you might have had a good sugar this morning if it wasnt on a fast that they tested yoru sugar you may want to have that done again. Being both my parents have diabetes, I know sometimes late at night or in the evening they will get like you somewhat with blurred vision. Still might be a possibility Glad just the same that your getting better and its nothing bad.
  6. Personally Ive found that on the Z "S30" that the snowflakes look really good, compared to the swastica style wheels.
  7. Erm http://www.apeusa.com its at the start of the thread
  8. Funny you mention about the bleed hole as with the Hallman valve it has one made into the set up itself.
  9. I hear you iksone, bitch should have gotten hammered for that. If that is going to be a live action movie it does look impressive. I would pay to see that at Theaters as I was also a HUGE fan of the transformers. Autobots, trasnform and roll out
  10. I use a Hallman type boost controller, it is a ball and spring and works fairly well. I hade it set to 15 psi with the stock turbo and it worked fine and without any problems. Sometimes it would spike to 16 but not more and it would hold pefectly to 6k. Ive never had any problems with it at all, but not replaces a good electronic boost controller, but then again Im sure you already know that.
  11. Your work is an inspiration and I live to see the videos of progress you are showing, its amazing the work those guys do over there. If anyone isnt using them now for metal fabrication, I cannot see why they are just incredible. Your Z will be awesome to say the least.
  12. No the Supra rail will not fit your car and you cannot erm for lack of a better work banaid the care enough to use the 440cc injectors, you will need at least a piggy back system to control fuel to use those. At the top of the injector you will see two what look like rings, the molded plastic, CAREFULLY cut this away and the metal that you see protruding from that plastic will still be underneath. Dont forget to remove the pintile cap covers either.
  13. Like lifefrddude said you have to cut and remove the top plastic to mount to the stock rail or get a O-ring style fuel rail. The pintile caps will also have to be removed as well. Take care not to damage the needles when putting the injectors back in. It is easier if you put the injectors in first, then attach the rail. One other thing unless you have Msns or some form a stand alone EMS, you will have to remove the cover from your AFM, and adjust the teeth to get a good idle and not flood your motor.
  14. I love that horn, is it from a freight train or something, I just have to have one, where can I buy it ?
  15. As true as that may be, think of it like this, 60k vs 154k erm I think Im taking the C6, and imagine what it could do with all that extra cash to play with :D
  16. I would think your car would deserve more then a small write up. It really gets me they call it Sport Z, but I see more ZX's, G35's and 350 Z's in that mag then anything. I think they need to get away from the bolt on crowd and get some Hybridz owners in that magazine of theyres to make it really good:D
  17. Now thats the finishing touch your car deserves, honestly. I cant wait to see them on that Z of yours, those wheels have to be one of my very favorite wheels. Hurry now man, mount those tires and lets see how she looks with her new shoes on:)
  18. Did you also happen to see there is a swapped 240Z on http://www.hpsalvage.com , and they aslo list us on theyre links. Pretty cool:D
  19. This is just an opinion but I would suggest starting off with the BPR7ES, it is one step colder and set it at about .030. That should do you well enough. The only thing I found is when running with a colder plug is a little bit of miss at idle, it is very subtle. What I did that corrected this was to install the iridium version of the same NGK plug.

    Too rich??

Silent you have it backwards, it is bp7es would be a colder plug, as like what I run in my turbo set up. bp5es would be a hotter plug, one step hotter then stock. Burntz please forgive me as you are correct, it has been a while since working with SU's, the lighter weight oil will allow it to rise faster, and I am incorrect. I was thinking the opposite and writing the same lol.

Are you still running the stock plugs. You might want to go with one step hotter plug, that might help your rich condition a little bit, though I dont see how you are not getting any real adjustment at all from your settings, you might also want to try a lighter weight oil for the carbs that will let the needle rise a little bit faster.
  22. Definetly sounds really nice, great job with the car, now all you need to do is get some protection up front for that IC before it becomes a mess from road debri. Great looking and sounding car.
  23. Thats what I think, If your brother has a SR20DET powered S13, then you know what that car is like, the Z will be a little better as it is lighter Im sure, also if you had your 7MGTE Z running and driving, then you know what that is like. Both as you would figure already will make good power, you already know what the Toyota motor is capable of, though as owning a few of them in my time as well, they dont handle for poo as you said, and our a bit heavy, now in a Z, I could see this motor making crazy HP, not to mention the torque on the 7MGTE is VERY nice. I can alsow see where you are going with the SR20DET as well, good power, lighter weight, and not to much power difference out of the box, plus, with it set back you can have a better weight distribution. I would think that since you have already done the 7MGTE to begin with why not try something new? I think that the SR would be a good choice for an "overall" fun car, for the street, strip and track. Withstanding one thing, how much power do you want out if it. Ive seen fast Honda's that were tuned by real wrench heads, doing 11's at the track and driving home. So its not said that you cannot have a 4 cylinder that is fast and still very streetable. My opinion only, Id go for teh SR motor.
