All that work, you get it all right and done, it looks good, sounds good with the open dp, and yet, you did no burnout. Now I have to say if you are done and complete the project properly, the way to do it is not to just start it, but you have to do the burnout as well, it is all for naught. Hah, just kidding though, looks good, cant wait to see the end result.

Now that would be a bad idea an others or misc. section. I hate to say this but maybe a good idea as well would be to set a cut off date for the adds, so that ones that are sold dont stay inside and bottle up the classifieds. The thing that I think makes the S130 less desirable, mostly, is the rear suspension. I had one and Im telling you the way that thing felt when you cornered hard, made you feel like you could reach out of your window and touch the arse of the car. Aside from that I love the S130.

HAH here I was reading this thread thinking that you did something horrible like curb your wheels or something to that effect. Slownrusty said it best, it really isnt that bad and like him I have used all other polishes, and the extreme metal polish is by far the best. It works wonders and you would be hard pressed to find something better less doing it professionally. Just clean them up and polish again, and they will be looking just as beautiful as once before.

The 3.7 doesnt make that much of a difference though it does change the gearing just a bit and you will notice it slightly, but I wouldnt think enough to be of a bother. Depending on the transmission you have, first becomes really short though.

Has anyone recently noticed that the classifieds have become a ground for anything lately. For instance, as I was just browsing, in the "hybrid z" section, there is a 280zx AE, tail lights, tires, a mazda and a ford mustang. Seems that people are placing the ads correctly. Eh maybe Im just pet peeving, but man they need a clean up.

I was thinking of getting one of theses stand alone ecus for my turbo Z. I was wondering if someone here had some comments about its ablities and or ease of use and installation. I have read through some posts, but no one has reposted on how well it did or didnt work, or the ease of use and tuning with this system. Also from what I have read they say that you need to go with Microtechs coils with this system, yet from the description of this particular unit, I am thinking though I might be wrong that you can still use the stock distriubtor. Am I wrong in this assumption? Would love to hear comments from anyone that has been, or is currently using this ECU in theyre car for feedback please. I can purchase one now, just the ecu and harness for 650.00. So you can see why I am interested in this particular ecu.

Its in Lodi, and I recieved the same pic of the cowl and hood vents that werent painted like the rest of the car. I wonder if thats where they got it from was on CL. Now what would Car and Driver say to that, no cup holders lol. I think the dash is looking really good. Do you plan to have a glove box or are you deleting it completely. I think the design is sound and its really coming together nicely. Im loving how its starting to come together and look.

I agree with what you say there spork, I remember Jeffp saying that his T-5 with over 200k on it, didnt give up the ghost till he hit about 450 hp. So the T-5 can take it. Ive seen high hp N/A transmissions take the abuse as well.

Autos will always be faster in the 1/4 there is no question of that, but if you are going to go with a 5 speed forget about the CF clutch, it couldnt even hold my 275hp Z.

I would definitly worry more on the clutch selection first as most Nissan transmissions can take that kind of abuse, and also upgrading to larger ujoints. The R200 can also easily handle the power output your looking at as well. The only thing after that really is traction, just getting it all to the ground.

I think that just goes to show one thing, that Z didnt meet its end and actually wasnt really damaged that bad. If you will look and see why, because of that very well and purpose built cage. Not only does it look like it saved the car, but definitly saved the driver!

My god that turbo on that Vette looks like it belongs on a Peterbuilt semi! LOL the worm gear clamps are just priceless though, hahah, just at the burnout Im sure they will blow.
