  1. That was the only problem Toyota out priced the car for the time and no one was willing to pay the high dollar price for a Japanese car. Shame a car so beautiful never left the ground. Could you imagine, if this car went along like the Z did. Might have changed everything with Toyota and the supra or whatever might have or would have been theyre big hp car today.
  2. I did not realize that I not only did it once but twice in the post. Maybe it was wishful thinking on my part to put it at a price that I could afford. I just love that car!!
  3. Oh my god, I about pissed myself laughing when I saw the bus makeover.
  4. I don't know how many here are fans of Toyotas' 2000GT but I just think it is one lovely vehicle. Here is on now on CCTOL.com for 225k. Looks flawless. http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/10/5/1/84428651.htm
  5. I have to agree with that one and most dont realize that when they look at Newmans stuff. Its hard to believe someone isnt wanting to get richer huh. I like his products, they are all well dman good as far as Ive ever tasted.
  6. I couldnt agree more, I would just buy the real deal and not go cheap on something like that for your car. Could cost you big in the long run buying a cheap turbo.
  7. Id just buy tokico blues off ebay, but thats me. I think the GR2s run like 40+ each though.
  8. You know that would be the perfect car for a Gateway commercial lol.
  9. I need a carfax for the purchase of a 91 300ZX. If anyone could run on for me I would be very thankful. The vin is JN1RZ24H4MX500204 Thanks in advance
  10. I would have to say go with the supra, though it is a little heavier, and I havent a clue as to where Redbeauty is getting his information the 7MGTE is a VERY realiable block. Stock for stock, the Supra has 30 more horse then the Z. Its is an inliner, which I think is a much better choice, dual overhead cam. Also, comes factory with an LSD, no search for one or having to pay outrageous price for a used one. They handle very well, are adjustable as far as alignments go at almost ever point front and back. I have owned both and would say the Supra is the better choice. You will find that a lot of the Z31 crowd carries a bit of disdain towards the MKIII supra. Pesonally I think its a great car and you cant lose with them. I wouldnt look for on on ebay though as they get overpriced there, as with many things. Good luck in your choice and search
  11. Ive said it before and will say it again, there is nothing like the sound of six throttles opening up on a Z, to me that is the greates sound ever. I love the induction sound of triples, sounds and looks great!!
  12. When they say something is purely sex, that car says it all right there, I love it!!

  17. My vote would be Black top and Silver sides!!! I wouldnt powder coat the wheels black, not all of them, just the center and leave the lip that nice shiny aluminum. Now that would look really good IMHO.
  18. I totally agree with jbc3, he is on something really good if he thinks that car is going to make that kind of 1/4 mile times. I believe that the posted stock times werent any better then 12.9 at the very best. Also as jb stated depending on what model Z you have your at least 1000 lbs lighter, with almost as much hp. Smoke em if you got em
  19. I think the same those tail lights are BUTT ugly to say the least, sighs what some people do to the Z. You know to me and this is just my opinion, the best mod Ive seen that looks good was Terries with the older skyline tail lights. Now to me that was a great tailight mod.
  20. Well now with over 200k on the clock the digital dash never has given me a problem till today. I got in started the car, and left it now worries as usuall, letting it warm up, then hop in, buckle up and take off. I then look down at my gauge cluster to see absolutely NOTHING!!. I was like well ok, whats going on here. Well, it was getting that time so I turn the parking lights on and everything comes up like I just started the car! Working perfectly. Well turn them off and everything goes back off. I cannot understand and as I was doing this while rolling it was just like I had started the car, then the gauges all catch up. It will work fine as long as at least the parking lights are on, but not on theyre own. All connections are good and clean, I dont know what to think. I have searched and havent found any problem as this. Anyone here have any hypothothis as to what might be the problem. Confused!
  21. I have to agree that looks really great it really does you know.
  22. Well damn!!, Figures it would have sold in a hear beat. Good luck, I hope someone from here got the car.
  23. Unbelievably cheap, of course it would be if you are in California! For 600.00, I would even trailer it across country. Take a look could be a very good deal for someone. http://www.craigslist.org/eby/car/151653227.html
  24. I didn't have as much luck with the 712's, Khumos older 711 Z rated tires for me were really nice though. They held great gave great traction and lasted a fairly good while. I loved those tires but could seem to find them anywhere anymore, supposing they have met they're demise to being upgraded and or removed from stock. I would have to say depending on what your looking for and the size another pretty good choice is BFG's GForce sport tire. Not to bad for the price and or what it does. Really it all gets down to what you want to do with the tire.
  25. So I see now that is the concensus with the acetone then, it flashes to quickly, but is that for roller or spray method or both. I was looking into the Rustoleum professional DTM paint and it says to cut it with acetone, so now I am a bit confused. Has anyone decided to try it with spraying and acetone or ? I'm about at the time where I want to paint and well I am wanting to know exactly what would be the best way to go. Any suggestions. I will be spraying the paint if that makes a difference.
