  1. My guess is your problem is due to you miss-matching parts from two different DBW systems. You'll prob have to use the truck DBW TB to get everything working like it should.
  2. No, they are worn and need replacement is all. Thanks for the input though, saved me some cash for something that wouldn't of helped at all.
  3. I still need one and I would gladly take yours off your hands. How much do you need to get it to Bakersfield, Ca. 93308? If you have PayPal I'll send it ASAP, plus a few extra bucks to cover the fees. Otherwise a money order will be on its way after I get your mailing address. cbright@bak.rr.com Thanks!!
  4. I am in the process of going through my braking system and wondered what years of rear shoes interchange? I might go with a performance type since I am a long way from doing a rear disc brake conversion. Thanks guys!!
  5. Alright, the car runs and drives for 2 weeks now and no major problems so far. Cam is alittle lopey, but that's cool because I like that sound. The car is a bit loud for my taste so I might add two Dynomax bullet mufflers under the car in the near future. The power and torque is available EVERYWHERE. Doesn't matter what RPM or speed, it wants to move. Traction is a serious issue. I thought I had traction issues with BBZ, this car is straight scary at times. Even if I slowly roll into the throttle it will still blow the tires away up until 50+ mph. This is with 245/50/16 tires btw.
  6. Prob a ground issue. I had the same problem with mine.
  7. I need a brake pedal assembly from a '70-'78 240/260/280z. Price with shipping to Bakersfield, Ca. 93308 would be great!!
  8. I bet the Z would eat the Ferrari alive in the quarter though.
  9. Hey Miles, I've been trying to call you buddy. Is your cell phone working? Can you email a pic of a spark plug or one bring by?
  10. Any chance of getting that pic reposted? Thanks!!

  12. Due to damage sometime in the car's previous life I started over will all new sheet metal and custom tail lights. I know they won't be for everyone, but I am okay with them.
  13. I stumbled on this old thread, but I thought I'd add some stuff. My Z was in a similar condition as yours when I bought it. I cut out most of it and started over. It still isn't done yet, but its on its way.
  14. Digging up an old thread, but I need a passenger side lower valance for a 280z. Do you still have one laying around that I could buy from you? Thanks!!
  15. Digging up an old thread, but I need a passenger side lower valance for a 280z. Do you guys still have one laying around that I could buy from you? Thanks!!
  16. That's the one good thing about the reman master, lifetime warranty.
  17. Nice progress dude. I noticed in your sig you list your 260z as a 1974.5. Unless someone has swapped out your front end bumper, grille, turn signals, and lower valence, you have an early 260z, not the later 260z. The blinker location is a dead giveaway for the year split. Just thought you'd wanna know. Take care.
  18. Still have some work to do on the roll pan, but its installed. I also mocked up the LED tail lights, although I am not sure if I like them or not.
  19. Stock 280z (not 280zx) master cylinder. I was advised by several that going to the 15/16" master would not be a good idea due to stock 2 piston calipers.
