  1. Tom, THanks for the info. A tranny and diff cooler are going on the track car.
  2. Try this. http://www.drpperformance.com/_store/Display_Products.asp?prodID=TILT1080
  3. Congrats, That's the ultimate hybrid!
  4. The size of the line will not change the volume of fluid going to the calipers. The MC is the same diameter. This controls the amount of fluid being moved. Use the same diameter lines, just replace the one that was damaged. Be sure to use a double flair tool if you have to cut the line to length and reflair.
  5. It keeps the car from going into reverse when you shift to fifth. With it open (powered or missing) the gate to reverse is open. Use a relay from the brake light switch. With the brakes on, the relay is powered and the power from the relay opens the solenoid. Hope that helps.
  6. Yes keep the reverse lockout. If you remove the solenoid for the reverse lockout, the 4th to fith shift will get you reverse most of the time, no fun at speed! If you leave it and don't use it, the shift to reverse will be a two handed job. Some have used a relay from the brake light switch to power the solenoid, others have used a lighter spring in the solenoid to make the shift possible but still requires some increased effort.
  7. It would be helpful to know what car the kit is for.
  8. No matter the cause, it's sad for his family and friends. My condolences to them all.
  9. Have you check the backing plate for the rear drums?
  10. I would for the biggest SOB you have ever met. (I'm self employed) I'll delete any attachments I get, Thanks
  11. Hey, It's a slow afternoon at work... What else is there to do?
  12. Mike, I was going to ask you guys if you had ever heard of it.
  13. Just sent this. Hey Erickson, What luck!! I have just been told that I need to be in Las Cruces,TX in the next few days to complete some business. It would be great if i could take out to lunch and we could discuss this marvelous car that you are selling. Do you have any favorite places to eat?
  14. Reply from scammer. I will need your name and address and i will contact them for shipping and delivery. OK guys, I'm open for reply suggestions.
  15. I just got this. Lets have some fun with this scum bag! Hi, thank you for your time and interest in my car.The car is flawless,no scratches or dings whatsoever. It wasn't involved in an accident or something like that. The title is in my possesion and it is a clean title,no liens and it is not a salvaged title. The selling price is $4500 with shipping included in the continental US. Now,i have only one problem, and it is major.I am now in Las Cruces,TX,so i can not be there to deliver the car(in case that you want it shipped) or if you want to inspect and test drive it.But i am willing to ship it prior receiving payment. So i will ship it to you and after you receive it and if you desire to keep it you will pay the shipping firm. If all this is ok with you please let me know your questions and i will do my best to answer everyone of them. Thank you, Erickson Larry
  16. It got yanked before I got to have some fun.
  17. One size does not fit all, that is for sure. I'm looking foward to testing the clutch lsd on the track and learning the differences between the two at speed. Hopfully it will be before I'm too old to enjoy it.
  18. I was going to reccomend long sleves and long pants, as those fiberglass hairs can cause days of irratation.
  19. Ron, I'm not picking a fight here, just my experience. I've got the Q45 diff in a lt-1 powered 240Z. I've done track days with this set up for 8 or 9 years on the same diff. It has held very well and it does not just spin the inside tire. I typically steer with the throttle. It will leave nice strips anywhere. This diff in a 2600 lb car is a hoot. That said, I'm building a dedicated track car and it has a clutch type r200 lsd. The weight and expense of the conversion was just not worth it for me on another car. The first one was done because someone told me it would not work. He was wrong.
  20. get that thing finished and get it to the track. I'm looking foward to seeing it run!
  21. I'm bidding, screw the scammer and screw ebay.
