VLSD contains a silicon fluid in the limited slip carrier. Not to be confused with the gear oil that is in the diff and lubricates the bearings and gears. This fluid behaves similar to dry sand on the beach. Walk slowly over the sand and you sink because the sand moves from under you feet. This is like taking a slow corner at low speeds. Run on the sand and it gives very little. This equates to hammering the car thru a turn. Quick hard force creates resistance in the VSLD carrier and both wheels spin for a nice tail out exit from the turn adn a big grin.

Another vote for the carbotech stuff. Great product at a reasonable price.

Do you know anything about the strut tower brace on that car?

A couple of guys have. I have a set but not yet installed. They are very nice pieces.

Check out the areas surrounding Charlotte NC. Concord, Harrisburg, Both near Lowes motor speedway (10 mintures). Great schools, low county taxes, near enough to Charlotte that the communte is easy but out of the city.

I'm interested in the larger rear spoiler also. I want parts in a time frame of weeks not months and would like some info on construction. If you can deliver those two requests, you will have quite a bit of business from this site.

If you can't spin the tires all the way down the back straight you don't have enought power. Not my words, forgot who said it but it is right on the money.

I have seen video of my car on a dyno and I can tell you, the rear tires did move foward. I had new stock rubber bushings on the rear. Arizona Z makes some nylon rear bushing that I have used to replace the rubber ones with. I have not seen video of the car since so I don't know if it has helped but that had to be what was giving on my car.

You have a place near you in Huntersville, muscle motorsports. They sell most types of fittings and even have a great selection of used NASCAR stuff at about half the price of new. I've gotten alot of my fittings there used. I also like the look of those black fittings. Thanks for the heads up.

Skip the 1500 the second time. Start with the 2k and then 3k. Do in a spot easily repaired or not noticable. I'm really looking foward to seeing that car!
