  1. You need to keep that line. It will vent air that would be otherwise hard to remove from the cooling system. Find a place to T it back in to the system.
  2. I thought the same thing, especially the rear half to one third of the car.
  3. check out this view. I think I like it. If the car looks like the concept, Ibet they will sell very well if GM is still able to build a car in 2009. http://automobilemag.com/auto_shows/naias_2006/0602_camaro_ofsk_01_900.jpg
  4. I need to call Butlerbuilt and see if I got my order in before the big NASCAR order. If not I may look it to those seats. Glad to hear they fit you well.
  5. Mat, I got mine today, 1/9. Thry look great. Thanks for your work on this deal.
  6. Congrats Austin! What a beautiful car. I hope you get to enjoy that one for quite some time.
  7. A second vote for pb blaster. I've seen stainless bolt kits for the 240 on ebay. I'm sure some one here will have a link
  8. Looks great, I enjoyed looking at your progress pics. When do you think you will drive it?
  9. I'm not running any side glass on the car so no need for weather stripping. I got tired of looking at the mounting points for the weather stripping and even more tired of banging my head on the thin metal strip so, cut, bend weld repeat..................... I'll enclose the top of the door to match the rear side glass area.

  11. OBD1 connector form your local chevy dealer will be less than 20 bucks. I did my lt-1 harness. I'm an electrical idiot. If I can do it, anyone can. Get a copy of the factory wiring diagram or use the linked hybrid Z thread. Put it on a kitchen table, remove all the loom, remove the wires you don't need and you will be amazed at how simple it is to get that motor to run in another car. Good luck.
  12. How much for the bridge? Will you deliver?
  13. JT, Bring your thong and spike heals.
  14. I feel for you Mike. One down and eight more to go. Offer still stands on the switch.
  15. When the wife and kids are gone for a weekend.
  16. You know Mike after I typed that I thought, he probably thinks that's funny and has boxes of that stuff. My efforts on the monguzz consist of putting a cover on it. When the track car is done, (that is a relative term) next on the list is a new bottom end for the yellow car an then the west coast orphan will get it's chance.
  17. You only have afew days to get this project done. I hear you will be a working stiff again after the first of the year.
  18. Topless, THanks for the kind words. Mike, if you need any stock parts let me know. I've got a few switches laying around. Hope you get it all working. We've got till spring!
  19. A couple of more pics of my oil tank install. Had to recess the fire wall a bit but I think it turned out pretty nice. It was cold when I painted it. Nice runs but they will be covered. http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=5293&cat=500&page=1 http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=5294&cat=500&page=1
