I think I saw the movie in the late 80's as well, when I got my first Z, senior year highschool. Deja, I have seen most of what you mentioned, one never knows where you may see some Z's on T.V. Anyone remeber that video shown on one of those "most dangerous Videos" shows, where the idiot that had stolen the army tank and went on a rampage? He crushed a few cars including an S30 Z. Then there was one of the original gone in sixty seconds realted movies where an S130 Z had the front end completely clipped off during a car chase scene. Back to my original post, someone has to have a clue! It is driving me nuts. Thanks guys.

I sure hope this was not your daughter, but if it was, Thank goodness she is OK. I can not possibly imagine the stress brought on by this situation. I have two young sons myself, I do my best to keep them safe, but you never know what might happen. If that was you on the news video, you looked pretty calm considering the situation, good for you. Your daughter did the right thing, she deserves a day or two of "spoiling" for it. Maybe she can share her experience with other kids to educate them. I know the feeling. I thought I had a great deal all set up and ready to go......NOT! I was ready to buy a 72' V8 Z, actually from a member here last month. We had quite a dialog going, agreed on a price, had payment arrangements, etc. I told him I would make the trip from Denver to Indiana early the next week. I even had a truck and trailer lined up for the haul, he knew this. Then he sells the car to someone from Olympia, Wa. I was extremely bummed, pi$$ed off for days. I couldn't believe this, as my wife & kids were excited for me as well. This is not a good way of conducting business. I have not mentioned the said members name as I don't want to "stir the pot" as they say. Those of you that have "computer skills" could figure it out though. Anyway, I just wanted to share my lil' story.

This may seem to be a dumb question to some people. I remember watching a movie many years ago, where there was a car chase scene. There were 6 or so blacked out S30 Z's driven by japanese gangster types chasing some guy for whatever reason. I don't remember much of anything else other that the Z cars being involved. If anyone has a clue to what I am asking, please respond. Thanks in advance. Jason

Your situation sounds like a real headache for sure. Dude, forget going up the ladder, go to the top. Speak to the head knockers in charge, the big dogs. You need to be extremely agressive, rude if need be, a pain in their a$$, irritate the heck out of them. If they don't get back to you within the hour, call them again, and again, and again, and so on. Anyway, good luck on getting this resolved.

I like the color of your panel. looks great. I hope you wear some serious shin-guards when working around the rear of your Z, the exhaust tips look cool, but I think they could shred anything that comes near them. Good luck on your project.
