a smoked clutch. Try putting the rear of the Z up on some car ramps. Then unbolt the driveshaft, and then apply torque to the pinion with a pipe wrench or something. If it "gives" then you have rear diff, problems. If not, the clutch is toast. Good luck and post what you find out.
Oh, don't forget to properly chock the front wheels wo you don't run yourself over!
AGREED!!! I frequent this site at least once if not twice a day, and have noticed a decline as well. Although I will say that this is still the best Z car site ever!
I have never really cared much for flares on a Z, until I saw yours! Damn, your Z is sexy! Second only to seeing Mariah Carey naked! I have had many Z's on my p.c. wallpaper, your Z is the latest.
I actually live in Arvada, but I have resisted going to look at this Z, because I have the money but no place to store the Z. Originally, the ad was for $1500, then $1000, and now $750! Geez, I wish I had the room!!!
I really like the dash! As for the gauges, you could machine some mounting rings, and then angle grind them to your liking. If you really don't like the dash, I am sure there plenty of Z guys that would take it off your hands.......myself included.
