  1. Man those cars are awesome. Now I just have to find my windows CD, so I can read the info. I really like the S30 Z's, really nice. Heck I would be happy to have a beater RHD S30!
  2. Just find someone with a nice big boat that needs an anchor.......LOL!
  3. If I had my pick, Mariah Carey tops my list!
  4. Awesome Z 4 sale, I wish I had the $$$!
  5. a place to store the Z I would get it. As it is, I have a '72 Z sitting on my step-dad's land in Louisiana, with a stock 4.3 V6/700R4 installed but not running, fairly decent condition. But it kills me because I have no place to store it either, I obviously can't work on it much, hence it sits and slowly rots.........boo hoo!
  6. I had a Pontiac 400 in a '78 Trans Am once, very similar problems. I got lucky with installing new cam/lifters, and pushrods/rocker arms. I then spun a rod bearing 6 months later, sold the car, and bought another Z......
  7. Yeah, tease ole Jay-Z as you may, but he is reportedly going to marry Beyonce................drooooooooool!!!
  8. that the L motors make excellent boat anchors. I could not give away the one I had either, even with dual 2 barrel Webers! It still sits at the rear of my step Dad's property, 5 years now. It did make a really nice home for various insects, ants, etc.
  9. Provided you could get this Z cheap enough, seems likely, a daily driver could easily be put together. A. the Z is somewhat local to you. B. you have the replacement body parts. C. you seem to have a vast resource as far as engines. My quick plan is: put together a "mild" 350 or 400 sbc, with "mild" heads, a nice comp cams 292H cam, an eddy torker II intake or similar, 750 Holley carb, some block hugger headers, the TH2004R from the Monte, with maybe a 3000 or so stall converter. Install this combo with the inexpensive JTR mount kit and you have a "cheap" decent daily driver. Although I am sure you would consider this combo "ultra-mild". It would sound nice, have some decent power for a street daily driver, and be "easy" to build. Just be sure to use the high tech throttle linkage and wiring from the Pinks Z..........LOL, just kidding! If you hurry up, I may be able to drive down from Denver, and at least help you get started, before my "hybrid ankle" surgery scheduled for Oct. 9th. Now, go get that Z.
  10. those vinyl stickers!!! They are reported to add at least 5 h.p. each! The APC and HKS stickers are worth 10 h.p.!!!! Yo! My VTEC just kicked in, I gotta go YO!
  11. Any luck on finding my ultra-cheap RHD S30 yet? Just kidding man, I probably coludn't afford it anyway. Good luck on getting you car imported to the US.
  12. I am interested in this as well. I remember posting a question to the admins about using the logo in my own tshirt design, but no reply.
  13. My first Z, raggedy a$$ '73 with glass hood, fenders, 3.90 diff, small cam, dual SU's. I gave a friend a ride home one day, Chirped 2nd as I pulled away. Then his local buddies/neighbors started to gather. They all say "do a burnout"! So, I back up, rev the ole' L24, and dump the clutch at 6,000 rpm. It was quite the burnout. They say we gotta see the motor, ok. Then the "smartest" looking of the bunch says, "look at that, dual fuel injection"! I must have laughed for half an hour. Anyway, the S30 defines the term sport car as far as I am concerned.
  14. Very nice indeed! Go slow over the peed bumps though.
  15. Check out this Z posted on ebay, #250029329880. It sems to be a fairly decent deal. Located in Alb. NM. Doc, are you paying attention?
  16. Hmmm........very interesting, I gotta put this one on my dream list!
  17. Just watch the Turbomeister's videos.........motivation achieved!
  18. That is all the room that is in front of the enigne for twin turbos, plumbing, intercoolers, etc. I'd say get a pair of shortie headers, install upside down facing the front, add twin turboos and hold on tightly! Check the following link for a low-buck easily done approach to said ideas. http://www.toohighpsi.com Good luck on ur Z!
  19. Any progress? We are waiting...................lol!
  20. I'm guessing that the Jag is totalled? Maybe you can remove the rear suspension with a recip saw, just cut around the body mounting points. This way, all fasteners and body mounting points are intact when it comes time to install into your project. Just an idea, good luck!
  21. Terry, I'm just checking to make sure you recieved the paypal. Thanks, Jason
