  1. we're gonna need pics to verify the viability of this story. haha, seriously tho, good job on not getting a ticket
  2. i don't think that's right..... i think that's the CR for the dished pistons. at any rate, if my F54 block is cracked, i have a dished block that i would gladly trade for your F54!
  3. ^mack, that's what i was going to say. these figures are apples and oranges. the difference between which accessories, etc, are on which will cause fluctuation. if we know the weight of these accessories (a lot easier to find than the weight of the blocks) then we can come up with accurate comparison figures. Jason
  4. not much you can do. if you can file it down without it greatly decreasing the strength and integrity of the rim, then go for it. but you would probsbly have to remove quite a bit of metal. are your rims painted? if so, file down that which protrudes from the surface of the rim, fill with JB weld, then paint over.
  5. this thread is hilarious..... let me try to remember any of my stories.....

    gas?

ya, what head are you running and which pistons? where are you in san diego? oh, and run the lowest octane without pinging for optimum performance
  7. no problem! it'c coming along nicely. so you did this just in publisher?
  8. looks good! if it were me, i would make the picks hyperlinked as well, but maybe i'm picky.... anyway, good job! Jason
  9. it truly is a nice car in person. i saw him driving it last week here in la jolla
  10. i don't know his name; he is/was a member on classiczcars.com. VERYCLEAN CAR! i must repeat VERYCLEAN CAR! he made all of the fiberglass molds himself, and i happen to have the molds sitting in my backyard (was moving, couldn't store them.... "sure, i'll take 'em off your hands!") he braced it very well to counteract the force of no roof. the flares on the fenders are very smooth and subtle. i believe it has a miata top on it
  11. well let's see.... a dremel will set you back about 60 bucks..... but seriously, i'm porting my head with a dremel. although i was taught by my dad who has 20+ years experience in porting heads....
  12. do you have a photo-ready cell phone? if so, PM me your number and i'll send you a cameraphone pic of my intake. it's off the car right now, but you'll get the look of it... Jason
  13. that's a nice nova! and Z, of course
  14. ok, i'll post some pics up as soon as i can figure out why photobucket won't let me login >
  15. i was noticing the FJCruiser's headlights the other day. they appear to be 7" roundies, but modernized. are they HID compliant, anyone know?
  16. that's crazy. pretty soon china will be making S30s again!
  17. i currently have the velocirty stacks under k&n filters. i would gladly sell the k&n air cleaner assemblies and go with my future plans, but i think i'll be the nice guy and tell you about my setup so that you may get a better one to start out with. i plan on doing an air box similar to the stock one, except have it duct air from in front of the radiator support through a cone type k&n to get cold air in instead of sucking in the hot engine bay air.
  18. just read this thread all the way through for the first time. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK!!!!
  19. for us bass ackwards americans, 150kg = ~330lbs

  21. hahahahahahahaha!!!! i'm actually very interested in seeing if this VH thing pans out. older Q45s are easy to come by and CHEAP
